So after much searching and no luck , pstemarie finally pointed me in the right direction for a complete list of pathnodes:

Up to this point I was only aware of A-Z and a-e . (Someone really should update Jlen set editor). However the diagram in the thread above raises another question for me:

It lists all the lower case nodes as double letters, aa   cc  pp. I searched through the  tno set file aind found some lower case nodes but nothing is listed as double letter, only single lower case letters.  Tile 164 has a double letter but this looks like a typo. It should be just capital I

 So is it safe to assume that all  the lower case pathnodes are single letters and not double ?
If the typo I mentioned above has never caused an issue, the second letter might be ignored anyway.

Yes, they should all be single letters. I guess the doubles in that chart were just to emphasise that they were lower case.
