I mean, they barely even have heterosexuality, te only purpose of sex seems to be for children. Love doesn't seem to even be a factor.
The Qunari PC MUST be Tal-Vashoth.

Unless the player decides to role play as a follower of the Qun, killing Mage companions on sight, never taking female warriors into battle, and whatnot.ManchesterUnitedFan1 wrote...

Love isn't a factor to breeding. Love is just love. Familial love, romantic love, Tamrassan love (in lieu of parental). Sex just doesn't play into it, though I imagine its more due to the danger of unwanted pregnancy. Hygiene may well be an issue. I doubt the Qunari want venereal diseases affecting the population.

Qunari doesn't waste resource, so they wouldn't kill the mages. I'm pretty sure the Qunari Protagonisth is a Tal-Vashoth because it would not make sense for the Quanri who follows the Qun to make certain decisions in the game like falling in love or kill out of fun instead of neccesity.Lord Aesir wrote...

So how exactly would this work out? Will there be a male and female Qunari follower, which would take up two of the nine companions. Or will a Qunari PC have to settle for a non-Qunari LI?
I suppose if they have romance for the Qunari PC (which I'm sure they will), I think I'm just going to heavily embrace the whole fantasy aspect of the Dragon Age games and try not to overthink it.

To be honest it's one tricky question. Mary Kirby said that they just don't have romance. Did she mean only sexual love? Or platonic too?Elfman wrote...

Did anyone even doubt it? Did you think Bioware would forbid a qunari PC from romance XD? Just imagine cringing fansBattlebloodmage wrote...
Since the Qunari has a name, it's pretty much confirmed that the Qunari is a Tal-Vashoth, so they could enter into any romance they want since they don't follow the Qun.
Still, even vashoths seem to see romance as sth weird
I wonder how they handle the romance with vashoth PC

I would say love between friends, or your co workers, is definitely a thing. I imagine they would develop romantic feeling towards each other, but probably not in the way we would know it as such, or maybe just not expressed in the same way. From the wiki:Chari wrote...

"Qunari have no "family units": they do not marry, choose partners, or even know to whom they are related. A Qunari's "family" consists of his or her coworkers.Qunari generally do not associate mating with love. They feel love. They have friends. They form emotional bonds with one another. However, they simply do not sleep with each other to express it. If they do, then they are sent to be reeducated by the Ben-Hassrath. If a child is produced, the same thing happens as with all other Qunari children: it is sent to be raised by the Tamassrans, evaluated, and assigned a job. Qunari do not waste resources unnecessarily, people included."

But of course it won't matter if they have a LI or not right? I mean that can't be the only beneficial reason why you would want to play as a qunari surely.

But here are words of Mary Kirby. http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/371/index/14192283&lf=8 They kinda confuse me since David Gaider once said he wouldn't mind a qunari romance. So... what's the truth

@Elfman, I mean love doesn't seem to be a factor in their sex. As in, they have sex purely for breeding purposes. And since I doubt our QunQuisitor will want to have babies in the middle of the Inquisition, I can't see why one that follows the Qun would pursue sexual relations with his or her companions.
Therefore, I'm certain we will play a Tal-Vashoth
I was responding more to your first question about homosexuality. I have no doubt we will be not be a follower of the Qun, Tal-Vashoth or just raised outside it so rejection of the Qun never took place.
