It speaks very subtle volumes about Sten as well as the Qun and their views on love. Love isn't about sex. Non-Qun (and even in real world) add sex to love because it seems natural, but it is very litterally a societal link.  To the Qunari, as a society, sex is a thing you do when it's time to make babies. Even in our own culture love is indepentant of sex, freely given to those worthy of it.

As an example, how many of us have that one friend who you'd have zero problems spending the rest of your life living with? Working with? Having them always a part of your life.. but you have absolutely no desire to sleep with due to varying reasons?

Take sex out of the equation completely, and that's Qun romance.

Btw, let's forget for a while about sex element... and think about more simple romance things like... do qunari kiss? Their love is asexual, so I wonder if they actually kiss. Maybe they do these eskimo kisses or even... headbumping.

And once that initial misunderstanding is out of the way, maybe they could come to a compromise and do gentle headbutting instead of bashing each other's head in.

AHHHHH SO CUTE! The imagery, I CAN'T STAND IT!  Oh I do so hope for an awkdorable Iron Bull romance though! You know the kind of romance that starts off a bit shaky.  He's a bit of a tool to the inquisitor at first, they argue and don't get along but then you find out he's a actually a big sweetheart underneath that gruff exterior. Then their relationship starts to change. You know, barely even friends , then somebody bends unexpectedly....waitaminute
