I'll admit I'm rather similar. Yay demisexuality, the ability to be turned on only by emotional bonds. (Didn't like Justice in any form, but based on their personalities, I'll admit I'd be smitten for Sten and the Architect if they were available.)
That's why threads like this confuse me. People wanting a Qunari LI for a Qunari PC, or a dwarf LI for a dwarf PC. I'll admit I'd like the cultural similarities and shared life experiences that come with being the same race, but I don't need it. What's more, wanting them for the physical aspect alone (like wanting a partner that's the same size) seems... eh, not as urgent to me. If the personalities are compatible, then who cares size or shape? Just makes the relationship that much sweeter, or that much more fun an obstacle to overcome. ;p
