Qunari: What is "sexy"? I don't know this word. Speak common language

PC: What's wrong?
femQunari: I mean no offense. You are simply very... small.

If Iron-Bull a companion and he got Aveline, I would love for there to be a flirt option like that. :P

Yep, I like all of those options too

What makes me want a female Tal-Vashoth as LI (other that they look hot ofc:lol:) is that a woman who can get out of a society like the Qunari is definetly the kind of woman I want to meet and I'm curious on how would she learn about life outside the Qun. Romance is one thing I would like to see how she deals with since in Qunari society reproduction is assigned by their leaders and she would have to learn how to live with newly found sexual freedom. Also, seeing her musinderstand the PCs propositions could be hillarious.

My biggest question is how the romances would be like if you are playing as a female Tal-Vashoth.

The same way male tal-vashoth's romance would be

It more of a question of how they would reconize romance. They live in a place where no consept of it is there and suppenly people are barking up that tree. How would they react to this thing called love.

What the hell are you talking about? I never said anything about Qunari society being patriarchal or misogynist. A male Tal-Vashoth LI would also be interesting for the same reasons, I just happen to prefer a female one because I like women and when a woman thrascends the gender roles of the society she was born into I like that.

It just sounded like one of these: "Oh wow I want a female Tal-vasshot who an kick ass and show that Qun is lie and ladies are no less badass than men" of SocialJusticeSallies who think that women are sooo suffering in qunari soceity :/
Besides, gender roles of qunari are very strict for both genders. Women, technically, have even more power and freedom

Then you miss understand that part of the Qun. It more of a consept that they beleive female should not lower themselve to fight as men do. Certin female do fight like theBen-Hassrath  but it's indirect combat.

It's more like "if you belong to specific gender, race, heritage then you best of all fill a specific role". They beleive that men can be cookers and women warriors, but neither will be good enough.
All qunari can fight, but only men specialize in fighting

Maybe I shouldn't have said "gender roles" =] It's more about trascending any set rules of society, and not only those about gender, to do and be whatever they want. Since Qunari society is so strict (for foth genders) and so difficult to abbandon, both in fissicaly leaving and in developing the will to do so for those born into it, it makes it even more admirable to me for those who manage.

I admire the ex-qunari mercenary of DA2 for becoming a Tal-Vashoth and not restricting himself to what is expected of a Tal-Vashoth. I just happen to like a woman I can admire in the same way.

Qunari think that love and sex have nothing in common. Sex is for reproduction only. Though if they know the concept of romantic platonic love is under question

We're playing as Tal Vashoth, so I don't think it's matter either way.

Ah, I see. I misunderstood you then, I'm sorry
That surely would be interesting. To see a tal-vashoth adopt to new life. And amusing to see them all obvious about people hitting on them XD

I under stand that. If we are playing as a Qunari most like we are playing as a Tal-Vashoth. I would think someone like that would be curious of the new culture they are in and try to understand things and try thing out.
I just think they would fall face first into it like a new born colt.

So it's not just the fact that you might be into a male qunari merchant if you were gay, but if someone in the seemingly highly individualistic Tevinter Imperium bucking the trend and expectations and converting to the Qun? Just trying to understand.

99.9% sure it was Gaider. Not that I thought it was necessary, anyone probably would have done the same.

Maybe they like it as a way to handle sexual urges without risking making children illligaly?

I'm not really into the merchant thing... I can admire his determination to be what he wants to be but not be particularly interested in his personal choice. This might seem a bit hypocritical of me, and maybe it is, but I can like one thing about a person and dislike another.

but if someone in the seemingly highly individualistic Tevinter Imperium bucking the trend and expectations and converting to the Qun? Just trying to understand.

The "someone in the seemingly highly individualistic Tevinter Imperium bucking the trend and expectations" part I would like, but the "converting to the Qun" I would dislike because I dislike the priciples of the Qun (mostly because it goes against indivilualism and such) and, although I can excuse someone who  was raised into it, a person who chooses it willingly I wouldn't like as a person.

Edit: thinking about the possibility of a female Tal-Vashoth merchant, If there was such a character I would probably be asking for her as LI.

Qunari do not have romance, do not express their feelings with sex

I meant more like a Qunari merchant, which is more thinking and problem solving than being a capitialistic genius. I also see what you mean now, and I'll try and stay out of your way as if I were Thedosian, I would become viddathari.:P:D Have fun!

That's what I meant. No sex unless Tamassran says you to make babies. Sex is only for babies.
Love is only platonic

Don't worry, if you're an adult, tamassrans have already assigned all your sex scenes for a couple of years in advance . Otherwise... well, I guess qunari are really patient

We know they do that with hetero sex. May not be as strict with homosexuality. The species probably has sexual urges, maybe they see it as a way to handle the urges risk free. We don't really know until the writers give us the big book of Qun birds and bees.

It would be interesting to know how often they breed. Conception is never a 100% chance after all. And what age to they start/stop? And do they have regular breeding partners if they are trying to get specific characteristics in the offspring? How many children would a female Qunari have? Do they get maternity leave?
