What makes me want a female Tal-Vashoth as LI (other that they look hot ofc:lol:) is that a woman who can get out of a society like the Qunari is definetly the kind of woman I want to meet and I'm curious on how would she learn about life outside the Qun. Romance is one thing I would like to see how she deals with since in Qunari society reproduction is assigned by their leaders and she would have to learn how to live with newly found sexual freedom. Also, seeing her musinderstand the PCs propositions could be hillarious.

A male Tal-Vashoth LI would also be interesting for the same reasons, I just happen to prefer a female one because I like women and when a woman thrascends the gender roles of the society she was born into I like that.
Besides, gender roles of qunari are very strict for both genders. Women, technically, have even more power and freedom
All qunari can fight, but only men specialize in fighting

Maybe I shouldn't have said "gender roles"It's more about trascending any set rules of society, and not only those about gender, to do and be whatever they want. Since Qunari society is so strict (for foth genders) and so difficult to abbandon, both in fissicaly leaving and in developing the will to do so for those born into it, it makes it even more admirable to me for those who manage.

That surely would be interesting. To see a tal-vashoth adopt to new life. And amusing to see them all obvious about people hitting on them XD

So it's not just the fact that you might be into a male qunari merchant if you were gay, but if someone in the seemingly highly individualistic Tevinter Imperium bucking the trend and expectations and converting to the Qun? Just trying to understand.

99.9% sure it was Gaider. Not that I thought it was necessary, anyone probably would have done the same.

I'm not really into the merchant thing... I can admire his determination to be what he wants to be but not be particularly interested in his personal choice. This might seem a bit hypocritical of me, and maybe it is, but I can like one thing about a person and dislike another.Elfman wrote...

The "someone in the seemingly highly individualistic Tevinter Imperium bucking the trend and expectations" part I would like, but the "converting to the Qun" I would dislike because I dislike the priciples of the Qun (mostly because it goes against indivilualism and such) and, although I can excuse someone who was raised into it, a person who chooses it willingly I wouldn't like as a person.
Edit: thinking about the possibility of a female Tal-Vashoth merchant, If there was such a character I would probably be asking for her as LI.

I meant more like a Qunari merchant, which is more thinking and problem solving than being a capitialistic genius. I also see what you mean now, and I'll try and stay out of your way as if I were Thedosian, I would become viddathari.

We know they do that with hetero sex. May not be as strict with homosexuality. The species probably has sexual urges, maybe they see it as a way to handle the urges risk free. We don't really know until the writers give us the big book of Qun birds and bees.Chari wrote...
