I'm pretty sure that beliefs ( religion ) can control sexual drive. There are religious people out there who can't figure out having sex with someone before the wedding. And they are able to wait for 5, 6 years, without feeling the slightest urge to make love with their partner. I've already seen that, and I asked several times, " how could you do it ? " For that person, it wasn't hard at all, because he was really convinced.

If you are convinced all your life from childhood that sex is a bad thing, and you should do it only for specific purposes, obviously, your mind will restrict those sex drives. Never underestimate the power of the mind over the body.

Workable. The success rate in humans isn't great, but maybe qunari are easier to control that way?

 I'm assuming the Qun is a very strict, no focus on individuality but still acknowledging it but saying that one is happier when not an individual, philosophy. Like viewing each person as a cell in a single body or something.

The Qun demands/asks for people to forget their individuality and focus on the whole society as a single organism. Now, it depends on whether they see masturbation as indulging in desire or necessary thing. If it is indulging in desire and only for fulfilling personal pleasure, then that is against the Qun. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, though, which is why they have re education.

They actually do that. Miliatairy part is the body (male only). Government and blacksmiths are the mind (female only). Religious part is the soul (both genders). And though people think that the mind rules everything, they believe that everything has to work in harmony, meaning that without body mind is nothing, without mind body is nothing etc

Well, I wouldn't mind if it fit the character. Romancing a tevinter magister as an elf, goes fine for a bit, but the magister believes in putting his/her house first before him/herself and breaks it off, but if human then no problem. Or, try to start a romance with a Dalish as a human, rejected because the dalish really and fully believes in the dalish ways, but if the PC is an elf, then no problem.

The Qunari PC gets Schmooples as an LI.

It's conditional depending on if there's a male elf LI for my Elfquisitor, (who I have recently decided to name Elidri for those interested). But if he is available, I'll romance him as my qunari!

Argh! Why did this thread happen when most of the writers are away. This needs to happen Biowares!
