I've run across a strange one. I've looked for a solution, but haven't found one.

There is a single area in my module that if I enter as a DM causes the DM Client to freeze on the loading screen. Happens only in this one area. Unfortunately it's also a major player visited area. So... kinda screwed.

Tried to make a copy of the area thinking it was just some weird bug in the tag/resref name or something. Changing both did nothing.

All PC's can enter just fine though. No problems.

Anyone ever encounter this?

Is it just your client, or all DMs? If just yours, could be as simple as a corrupt file in your install. Does the affected person's player client also freeze?

It's a small server. I'm really the only DM. I'll try and get someone else to log on as a DM. Never have before. Will let you know if anything changes.

They logged in just fine.

Decided to completely reinstall NWN. After putting everything back I was able to log on just fine.

Dunno. Maybe some file was corrupted somewhere on my end.
