Batguard is my favorite. He is an absolute beast of a weapons platform vanguard. His faster charge recharge than the Kroguard puts him way ahead for that purpose IMO. Kroguard is better used as a melee build IMO.

Either the Slasher with the Claymore; or Soldier with the Venom would be my current favourites.
I've never found a build I like for the Sentinel and I don't play Vanguards a great deal anyway.

Soldier with Wraith/Talon/Raider/Graal/Venom

Sentinel with Venom

My favorite is the Brawler, with any shotgun.

I would say Soldier, but since I learned about the Incendiary cheese, I avoid playing him.

The Sentinel is good with either the Claymore, Wraith or Raider.

My build is weird Kany. 5/5/6/6/5. It's a build specced for tankiness/shield regen and Tech Bursts(Submission Net), Fire Explosions(Incendiary ammo) and Shockwave as the detonator.

Batarian soldier equipped with wraith...specced 0 for blade armor

Melee build batguard. The soldier is also fun but the grenade spam gets boring rather quickly.

Venom. On top of its CC it also makes the Submission Net a lot less frustrating to use.
