So after searching the forums a little I have seen the community is split on whether they like Tallis or not, but what isn't issue isn't the forum split over.  Bearing that in mind I am asking that Tallis be made a DLC character, so as those who want her can and those who are indifferent to her can blissfully ignore her existence in DA: I

Why Tallis though? Most importantly in my opinion is that she has a per-established history through the web-series and the DLC, and will allow Bioware expand on a character then just start over from scratch. Also with the announcement of being able to play as Qunari, I think Tallis would be a great companion to have because she understands both the human perspective and Qunari way. This would allow her to serve as a sort helpful guide for the Qunari Inquisitor in certain story elements.

My personal opinion is that I loved the character in the DLC and was sad she didn't join up full time. Also she was a stronger female elf personality we have seen in the Dragon Age games. I also enjoyed her humor and almost breaking the 4th wall sometimes.

With Bioware's recent record there is a very good shot at having a DLC character or 2, and I for one think the spot wouldn't be wasted if they gave it to Tallis.

I prefer to get totally new companions. We have enough old faces showing up.

I suppose it'd be neat to see her, but I think she'd only serve a major purpose to Qunari PCs, and be little more than a side 'characeter' to other races. I'd like to see more major DLC focused on at first, if we must have DLC altogether.

Yes, I want this. She'll have less Mary-Sue qualities if written by a Bioware writer.

Then again, maybe I wouldn't be able to get her armour! And I re-he-heally want that armour!

1. She's not a mary sue.
2. She was written by bioware writers for the game.

I don't think she is a Mary-Sue, I think she has Mary-Sue qualities, and I understand where some of the criticisms for her character come from. And I feel they were definitely more prevalent in Redemption.

Tallis is one of the few Bioware characters I've ever actively hated. She's so transparently a mary sue I'd rather play a game surrounded by a billion Kaidans.

I think her story is over unless she is hunting the Qunari companion for some reason.

I did not like Tallis... So if it turns out she's the DLC character I'll probably skip it. I'd prefer a new character. Someone a bit more interesting.

Your first sentence is precisely why she would be a poor choice for a DLC character. Half of your audience already hates her. Why would you make a product that immediately shuts down half of your potential buying audience?

i love story DLC's I am just saying Bioware tends to have an optional character at launch to try and generate more revenue, if there has to be one I would like it to be Tallis. Also a character needs to be included in the game as it is created so the character feels like it part of the game, quite honestly a few of the DLC characters felt tacked on in previous games.

If the dlc allows me to leave her charred body in ditch, I'll buy it.

Sure, so long as I get the choice to kill her. I'd buy the DLC just to slaughter her like a pig.

Here's an idea, how about we have some new, original and fresh characters instead of bringing back the same people over and over and over again?

sorry, but she makes me want to murder-knive somebody (preverably her!)

i mean, you could do bad things to me,but i would never join those ****-communist-borg (the qunari) - as for me freedom (with all that entails - that's why i would love governments to controll their secret services (like the NSA) more in RL!) is the highest good (and i would trade it for nothing!)

greetings LAX
ps: no, i do not want her as a companion!

I would like Tallis to return just because it would irritate those who hate her.
I still believe some players don't like Felicia Day personally, although they deny it.
So I hope she returns .
grins.

The fact that she is presented far from flawless makes her not a mary sue.

This. I'd love for the voice actress to come back but we have oo many old characters already. The world seems like a small plae when you run I to the same people over and over.

i have nothing against Felicia Day (she looks hot after all (shallow? - maybe :D ^^)) - i just don't like fanatics (not even fanatics that think exactly like i do but want to force that on other people!) at all!

well to be fair this forum is split on pretty much anything. Also as blasphemous as this may sound the popular opinions of this forum may not fairly represent the people who play the dragon age series. Such as every one of my friends preferred DA 2's combat style to and that seems go against a large majority of this forum, and while my friends in no way means a majority it possibly shows that people who don't visit the forums could have a vastly different opinion.

this is just the best place to possibly get Bioware's attention.

Only if I can de-convert and/or neutralize her.

I think she has decent values, but I don't like how the character mistakes all of her values as being the same as the Qun. Like she's merely preaching the "true way" and all of the others are mistaken. She needs to face the facts that she's simply different from the Qun and stand on her own.

Absolutely. As much as I liked her in MotA, dear gods did she become a God Mode Sue in Redemption. It got to the point where I just wanted her to shut up and go away, which is something that I should never want when watching Felicia Day!

Ironically, Nyree wasn't given anything to do and still proved the coolest character in the whole thing, proving less is more.

I'm willing to give MotA!Tallis another shot, but Redemption!Tallis can stay in fanfiction, where she belongs.
