I had nightmares the first time I saw it *shivers*. I never thought I could see such an ugly result of a face in a game like DA 2 where by default, the game tries to smoothen everything.

They made it based on Felicia Day's face.

Make Tallis the main protagonist of DA3. Just to spite all people who dare to dislike her or Felicia Day.

I'm not a huge Tallis fan or anything, rather indifferent, but since we can make a Qunari Inquisitor in DAI that would actually be really interesting. I also wouldn't mind seeing her in the new elf style.

I want Tallis as the Inquisitor's top agent.  Then, in the middle of the game, she backstabs you by betraying your secrets she knows to the qunari.

The more I think about her the more I want to see her again. She seems like a character who's story isn't done. Hopefully in a different role than in Mark of the Assassin though. I feel like it wouldn't be hard to fix most of the complaints people said they had with her in a different scenario for a story with her.

Honest opinion: True.  I'd say the problems with Mark of the Assassin were more problems with Dragon Age 2 in general as far as not really being able to do anything to actually affect the outcome of the plot.  If Tallis were incorporated more in Dragon Age: Inquisition, I'm at least of the hope that she'd be treated more as an NPC of the game rather than someone the protagonist can't touch because she has a spin-off of the game series.  Essentially, more like she'd blend into the world like Veronica in Fallout: New Vegas.
