I guess it's to each their own, but I never got much glee in killing off squadmates (or ex-squadmates) if I could help it. I'm not much of a Tallis fan, but you can bet that I'd do everything in my power to keep her safe and happy if she ever joined my team. What makes people so eager to kill squadmates they hate?

You can't atribute all of their behavior to one single motivation, but for a lot of them it is a power and control issue. To kill someone significant or destroy something noteworthy in a fictional world gives them a sensation of power, of having control over that world. It isn't hard to imagine how someone whose real life features an abundance of frustration and feelings of powerlessness might find that appealing.

This is what Tallis probably should have looked like , the girl in the Natiowide commercial or something similar. Nothing against Felicia Day personally, but she isn't pretty.

She betrayed us, regardless of reason she tricked us into helping the Qunari regardless of our position on the Qun, and Hawke stands there like a jackass after she takes the names. So revenge is a logical recoursefiveforchaos wrote...

I would never include or not include a character based on a petition, but the nay-sayers certainly do make it tempting.
LOL, include Talis as a day 1 DLC just out of spite for all the haters. What? I can dream. lol

Of all the characters to come back you would want Talis? I'd rather have Sebastian.

Now, now how can we brutally murder his face off if he's not in the game?

Tallis makes the pc act pro-qunari no matter how they feel about it. It would have love to slap her around already in the prison scene where she blurs out her weird qun filosofy.
For not giving a change to have a go at the list was a slap in the face with extra toppings when Tallis throws the jewel to hawke like a bone to a dog. "No, you can't have this. But here is a treat for you. Here boy!"*whistles* (Hawke Stands there like a idiot mouth open, "wat?")

Same. He was just sooo borrrriiiiinnnnng. Only thing that kept me recruiting him was the xp for his quests, his lovely eyes, and cute accent, lol.
Unfortunately that's ALL he had going for him.

Yep, that's my problem with her and MotA's story. I can be professional (if not exactly forgiving) about being manipulated, but not going after the list was drastically out of character for most of my Hawkes. Tallis as a character isn't exactly to blame but since I can't slap the writer she has to serve.Ukki wrote...

Edit:
Prosper's stupidity doesn't help the case. One would think an Orlesian noble with enough intelligence to be involved in a plot of this kind would recognize what he's got in his hands.

I just want her unic skill tree to be available to the rogues. They need an anti-mage specialization urgently.
Yeah, that was my fav part about that dlc. I actually set tatics up for my Hawke just so I could control Tallis to use her cool powers. I remember she had power called Drop Dead or something like that? That was NASTY. And another one that was a silence power that I liked and would have loved to use in the main game.

At least Sebastian doesn't try and play us like some kind of fiddle. I'd say these two are likely to come back eventually due to the fact that neither of them can die.TKavatar wrote...
