New characters would be great, rather than rehashing any more returning ones from previous games.

I don't think she is a Mary-Sue, I think she has Mary-Sue qualities, and I understand where some of the criticisms for her character come from. And I feel they were definitely more prevalent in Redemption.
Absolutely. As much as I liked her in MotA, dear gods did she become a God Mode Sue in Redemption. It got to the point where I just wanted her to shut up and go away, which is something that I should never want when watching Felicia Day!
Ironically, Nyree wasn't given anything to do and still proved the coolest character in the whole thing, proving less is more.
I'm willing to give MotA!Tallis another shot, but Redemption!Tallis can stay in fanfiction, where she belongs.
She wasn't perfect even far from perfect problem is in that everybody iq around her is changed to 60 to make looks her like someone perfect hawke was painted as retarded in this dlc add this that she wins no matter what we do even if she stands two steps from us and we scream that we kill her or that give us list she throws no argument why we shouldn't do that and hawke just looks her leaving very slowly.

Characters I thought that weren't integrated well in Bioware game's are Sebastian, Kasumi, Zaeed, and to a lesser extent both Shale and Javek.

Only if I can de-convert and/or neutralize her.
I think she has decent values, but I don't like how the character mistakes all of her values as being the same as the Qun. Like she's merely preaching the "true way" and all of the others are mistaken. She needs to face the facts that she's simply different from the Qun and stand on her own.
this is true (and if that would happen, i would gladly have her...i liked her very much, till she tells me she is part of the qunari secret-service/police that kills non believers, re-educates people (with force and drugs that make them into mindless laborers that soon die!) and spies on all the powers in Thedas...i mean: how can she do that, after her own past (i mean she has had a hard live)...i could not (i mean: if you were tortured etc. - how can you do the same to others?))
greetings LAX

I don't mind characters doing things that are outside my control but within their characterization (Anders blows up the chantry), as long as I get an actual choice on how to deal with it (my pro-templar warrior killed him, my pro-mage rogue defended him). MoTA took all control AND choice out of my hands and waved it around in my face saying "nyah nyah nyah".
Gods, please no. Maker save me from more Tallis.
(And I have no real opinion on Felicia Day- her voice work was nails on chalkboard, and it's the first time I'd ever seen her acting ability. Later on, I saw her Supernatural episode which was FANTASTIC. So no, it's not a hate-boner on Felicia Day at all.)

i know felicia day is a thing right now but imo shes a mediocre writer who wrote a mediocre character that bioware's writers poorly incorporated into a self-insert vanity dlc and also i find her voice grating
the dlc itself was okayish and there was some new party banter which was nice but god damn was tallis boring and annoying to me

Yuck, no. She was incredibly annoying, and interacting with her made me feel like my Hawke was suddenly a moron and incapable of doing anything. My rogue Hawke couldn't pick the lock on their cell, but she could? Wha? She betrays me and I can do nothing whatsoever about it while she stands back and acts all smug, just a hair's breath away from my blades, and I can't attack her? At all? No way.

I wasn't here when that controversy started so I don't know all the details but I suspect it was a similar.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong .
I don't think the fans consider them on the same level as Kate Mulgrew and Claudia Black or even on the same level as VAs like Corriene Kempa and Mark Meer.
So I believe that's a factor although I expect it to be denied once again .
shrugs.

Actually Felicia Day was in MotA two years before we got to suffer the Cho-bot in ME3 and was far better received... or at least, she splits the base down the middle evenly.
Fans either love or hate Tallis. Everyone hates Allers.

minor quibble but Felica Day in DA2 was before Chobot in ME3. Also FeliCa Day had a full fledged DLC, whereas Chobot had like 10 lines of dialogue. Day also has a somewhat diverse career, whereas Chobot was the "attractive" woman from IGN.
Also agreed poster above, everybody hates Allers.
