So it was just the way Allers was written ?
Was MOA well written.
I see a lot of flaws in it .
shrugs.
We'll see if Tallis ever returns.
well the writing wasn't bad, Chobot is not a very good at voice acting. Also she took the place of a news reporter that was already in the series, that people really liked. People pretty much goread it as that Chobot was in the game for good IGN karma. Also time and development assets were wasted on her, when it could have been better used anywhere else.
Tallis in my opinion is character with values that are flawed is great to have in the party, her viewpoint adds a different to the story. While no may like her or the views of the Qun, the Qun exists in dragon age and she is a follower of it.

*groan*Please, no more Tallis. She was a waste of a DLC and many feel her character is obnoxious. I like Felicia Day, but she has already had her stint of Dragon Age fan service.
New characters would be great, rather than rehashing any more returning ones from previous games.

Yes, I want this. She'll have less Mary-Sue qualities if written by a Bioware writer.
Then again, maybe I wouldn't be able to get her armour! And I re-he-heally want that armour!
Tallis in DA2 was written by Bioware writer!

Would be happy to see her in Inquisition, maybe not as a companion though. One of your agents would be better IMO.

It's not about flawed values. Her values mean nothing.DarkSpider88 wrote...

Through the whole DLC and in her series too, Tallis is supposed to be a protector of the Qun because she admires the ideology.
But she never acts it out. She never talks about the Qun as any other Qunari. Her DLC is about her being on a personal mission, which Qunari is not supposed to have. She starts out murdering the initial attackers in cold blood and then regrets it when a single guard has to die.
In both her series and the DLC she can flirt and kiss with other people, outside the Qun even. She's not supposed to.
I cannot take a character seriously that tries to be knowall towards the player and contradicts all her supposed ideals with her actions.

Doubt Bioware would admit that though.
lol.
If Sera is in DAI , I think that makes Tallis's appearance in either the game or dlc less likely.
Just my opinion though.

No. Just, no. Felicia Day already had one vanity DLC, she doesn't need another one.
Don't understand why did she get even that vanity DLC. Does she have any achievements? Not counting a friendship with Bioware writers.

I think this sums up nicely what I felt as well. Its like they try to make her this independent strong-willed character, but she comes off as a confused child because her views toward the Qunari and her actions are so dramatically different.

Here's an idea, how about we have some new, original and fresh characters instead of bringing back the same people over and over and over again?
This. I'd love for the voice actress to come back but we have oo many old characters already. The world seems like a small plae when you run I to the same people over and over.

Absolutely. As much as I liked her in MotA, dear gods did she become a God Mode Sue in Redemption. It got to the point where I just wanted her to shut up and go away, which is something that I should never want when watching Felicia Day!
Wasn't MotA written by Bioware and Redemption written by Day? So why aren't we judging the possibility of her return according to how well she performed in a game last time? I'm confused by those of you who wouldn't want Tallis to return in future games because of her performance in Redemption.

Sorry, 'achievements'? She's a well-known actress and popular personality. The writers wouldn't have given her a DLC if they didn't believe it was going to make for good content, and I for one enjoyed MotA - I'm sorry if you didn't.

And if people want new, original and fresh characters instead of old ones, they should be also protesting at Varric's, Cullen's, Cassandra's and Leliana's return in DA:I IMO. *runs for cover and ducks

Since this game spans three countries, it's not unreasonable to see Tallis again (assuming she hasn't changed her name because she defected the Qun in Redemption). Maybe she'll be a quest-giver or something, doing assassin-y things .

I would like Tallis to return just because it would irritate those who hate her.
I still believe some players don't like Felicia Day personally, although they deny it.
So I hope she returns .
grins.
I have no problem admiting that I don't like Felicia Day personally.
Well, that's kind of harsh. I don't like her writing as I find i very fan-fictiony, or her acting which rarely elevates above Schwartzenegger levels. By fan fictiony I mean writing with a focus to make a particular character look good as oppose to concentrating on how that character fits into a story. You can't first show a character to be concerned by human life to make them sympathetic then show that same character cracjing jokes while killing guards whose only crime was working at the badguys hideout to feed their families to show how wistful and carefree your character is.
That being said I'm sure Felicia Day is a very nice person. I'm just not a fan of any of her work.

Never believed the denials of others.
I don't have a problem with Day personally.
The few episodes of Geeks and Sundry I've watched I've liked.
She needs to learn not to flinch when she shoots a bow.
I like her with Wil Wheaton doing table top.
I don't watch Supernatural very often. She has a recurring role on that.
There's going to be a Supernatural spinoff and she may be in that though I've read the show won't be built around her character.
The stuff in MOA was written by a Bioware writer so deficiencies in it are Bioware's fault not hers, just to be fair.
I didn't consider the web series a professional effort, so if it was intended as professional Day deserves criticism for it.
As it is it's unlikely Tallis will be a major factor in DAI.
If she's in it at all it will be as an npc.
So the people who don't like her for whatever reason need not fear.
