Whoopty doo. How about we put Ben Croshaw in this game, he's another creator of a successful webseries. I'm sure he could voice the emperor of Tevinter or something, it wouldn't sound out of place at all.

she is very active amongst the geek and gaming fandoms,

I hate the concept of ''fandom'' and people who call themselves ''geek'' or ''****'' like it's a badge of honour.

she hosts Geek and Sundry,

Is that title supposed to mean something to me?

she starred in Dr Horrible, Buffy, Eureka and Supernatural, to name a few.

She didn't ''star'' in any of those, because she's not a star. Raphael Sbarge has had fleeting guest spots in more TV shows than I can count, and he's not considered a star of anything either. But he actually has a pleasant voice, unlike Day.

If that isn't good enough for you...well, then I don't know what is.

How about being the main character of a show that ran for 7 season, a little show called ''THE WEST WING''. It's a thrill to listen to Martin Sheen, because he is somebody. He has an actual career.

I remember squee'ing when Sheen was announced as The Illusive Man.

Although that had more to do with Apocalypse Now than The West Wing. Excellent show, but Sheen's done better.

"felicia day was in stuff" whoop dee doo that dont mean i want her in the game again

furthermore it isnt just her mediocre acting, its that tallis is a poorly written character

i wouldnt mind that shes an irritating self righteous twit that doesnt know what she wants, thats character flaw, whatever

but mota shoves her down your throat, it felt like it was constantly hitting me in the head with how awesome this character was dont you love her???? complete with varric implying that hawke was attracted to her which personally annoyed me because my hawke is gay. i know the game couldnt exactly tell that but thats more reason to not have him say something like that.

I really like Felicia Day, but Tallis was horribly annoying imo. She just came across as very hypocritical and had this "better than you" attitude, I really don't want to see her again.

The problem with Tallis was that she kept contradicting herself and the Qun by her actions.

All of the other Qunari are pretty self-consistent in their beliefs, their role and how they view the world. Heck, even Maraas was self-consistent despite being Tal-Vashoth who had left the Qun. He knew that his place was not in the Qun, but he knew that simply acting chaotic is not the answer either.

Tallis... well she doesn't seem to get the Qun at all. Heck, Hawke is more like the Qunari than she is!

My favourite line of dialogue is when she tries to preach at Hawke and suggest that the Qun could give Hawke a purpose in life. Hawke throws it right back at her and points out they already have a purpose, protecting Kirkwall... leading her to awkwardly stammer that it's not the same.

But it really is? If Hawke embracing their role as protector of Kirkwall and dedicating themselves to that goal is not like the Qunari devoting themselves to their role within the Qun, then what is?

Throughout DA2 various Qunari imply that that Hawke is a born protector / enforcer and that their role would not change under the Qun, with Taarbas even insinuating they would likely become a member of the Ben-Hassrath.

Judging from what we see, Hawke would be far better member of that group than Tallis.

In DAO, Sten didn't understand how I was a woman and a warrior. One of those things could not be true. With that logic in mind, I want Tallis as a Qunari assassin explained to me. I suppose I would pay extra for that?

Tallis works for the Ben-Hassrath, the religious arm of the Qunari lead by the Ariqun, not the Antaam, the military arm lead by the Arishok.

As such, she's technically considered part of the priesthood, which are typically women as Sten suggested.

You know i'm really hating myself for saying this, but I really want an Origins companion to comeback. I mean Inquisition is getting Varric as a companion, so why can't we have an Origins companion come back as well. My vote is for Shale :)

But going by the Dragon Age Wiki entry she was tasked with (as a member of the Ben-Hassrath) burglaries, heists, and assassinations.  And yet Sten was utterly confounded over the fact that people with vaginas could also fight, so....?  Is Sten the one who is confused here, or did the lore shift without telling me?

I liked Tallis but we might be getting a fem elf rogue in Sera and I like diversity in my companions. Also I want to see more new faces.

If they're going to work on a fully fleshed out DLC character I would rather it be a new and interesting character rather than...that. I know I wouldn't have to buy it, but there's no way they would make 2 DLC characters and it just seems like a waste.

Zaeed and Kasumi.... different series but same developer.

Unlike Shale and Sebastien, I don't feel like either of them were fully implemented. One of my favorite things about companions is the conversations. When you click on Zaeed or Kasumi, they give an ambient comment but you can't have a conversation outside their personal mission.

If we're going to have a full companion, I don't want a self-insert Mary Sue.

I also want to see Tallis back, but i disagree that she should be of any dlc, i think that is precisely what caused the problem in DA2. The dlc was just too short to fully show her character, combined with how railroaded the story was, she ended up looking like a mary sue and Hawke as powerless.

I think most players hate her not because of what she did, but because of what Hawke didn´t, and blame her character for the dlc being railroaded into a single outcome. That is not a fault of the character, it is a fault of the dlc.

I find the character concept very interesting, a qunari elf who has doubts, and an example of a qunari who is not like Sten or the usual military guy we met in DA2. It proves that not all qunari are single minded zealots and that they have personal issues and doubts too.

I would like to see her again in a future DA game as a companion, and if she has to be a dlc character, then she should be properly integrated into the whole game like Shale or Sebastian were, instead of being a single mission character with little time for proper development. I hope bioware realises the potential she had as a character and try to bring her back in the future.

They did present Tallis in a rather over-the-top manner in Mark of the Assassin, I agree. I don't hate her, but I think that DLC of hers and maybe a cameo is just fine for me. No need for a companion slot, she's had her time.

If we were going to pick a DA:O companion to come back? I'm not sure. Sigrun, I'd say.

Assassination is not synonymous with combat, contrary to what the assassin's creed series would have you believe. I don't see the inconsistency here.

If you don't like Felicia, nothing anyone says here is going to convince you otherwise (Star Fury :P ), but you don't have to go around being a dick about it. I enjoyed MotA, didn't like Redemption, but trust that if David and the team wanted Felicia back, they'd do a good job.

She'd be better as one of the agents the Inquisitor sends out to do his/her dirty work IMO.

If there is a DLC companion, I'd rather it was someone completely new.

Tallis is terrible character that to show how smart she is everybody intelligence is droped to zero she always win we can't prevent that even if we had many occasions to do that and what required average intelligence to the point when she literally she stands two steps from us holding qunari spy in thedas list and she want cause the death of millions to save spies we can say her that we will kill her then she says only "are you sure?" and throws no argument why we shoulnd't do that and our hawke looks at her when she very slowy leaves ,you can also want list to save milions but she will say that she won't give you list and that same scenario. She is qun blind fanatic well others may protect her because she seems have some doubts but i won't protect her because still we can argue with her and she will always be "qun is only right way to live you don't have right to resist"

I'm sorry, but isn't that how people who follow the Qun behave? Most followers of it are extremely condescending and believe strongly that it is the only right way. It seems to literally be part of that philosophy.

So do you really hate Tallis or do you just hate followers of the Qun?

Tallis suffered from the Kai Leng problem. The only way to make her cool was to make everyone else stupid as hell. I didn't enjoy having to let her walk away with the list and I REALLY don't want to see her again.

Unless we can kill her

Shes not very consistent in how's she's portrayed. One moment she's killing nooks with a smile, the next she's crying over one dead guard. Plus she makes Hawke act like an idiot. You can threaten to kill her and demand she give you something important back and she literally just says "No".

And you have to stand there like an idiot as she frolics away.
Even after threatening to kill her. I know WHY that happened but it just makes the DLC seem pointless, like DA2 itself.

@Eterna She tries shoving down your throat how great the Qun is only 1 min later to start stuttering about her beliefs.
The entire DLC is her being awesome while you just follow her around and be dumb as a brick. It's very similar to Kasumi's mission. The only difference is that you have no choice at the end even when you get the option to kill her she just walks away.
For a follower of the Qun she goes out of her way to do whatever she wants to. Her mission is a personal one and has nothing to do with the demands of the Qun.

Do i hate qunari yes because they are peoples (well not not exactly more belivers) who want control everyone and tell them what to do ,but i hate tallis for various reasons and well i said already that i hate qunari and she follows it but i hate that character for more than that like how she is presented and her failed jokes and i don't like her look because it was like from another game or story it doesn't fit to look other characters , she also annoyed me .

Oh god and her failed attempt be nice character who don't like death despite that she slained 100 peoples and throw knife at boy in da redemption.

This. I have no desire to deal with Tallis' 'adorkable' (Maker, do I hate that word) personality again. She was grating, and at least for me, totally useless in combat. Want a follower of the Qun back? I vote Sten.
