But if she is a DLC companion, I will just skip that DLC and no worries.

I'd also like to have a reeeeally long discussion with her about the Qun and the mages as a Qunari mage Inquisitor. [Tallis in DA Redemption:] "We know how to treat our mages *shows a Templar a saarebas collar*" (or something along those lines) -- really, Tallis? Wanna say that to my Inquisitor here?

But going by the Dragon Age Wiki entry she was tasked with (as a member of the Ben-Hassrath) burglaries, heists, and assassinations. And yet Sten was utterly confounded over the fact that people with vaginas could also fight, so....? Is Sten the one who is confused here, or did the lore shift without telling me?
Assassination is not synonymous with combat, contrary to what the assassin's creed series would have you believe. I don't see the inconsistency here.
If you don't like Felicia, nothing anyone says here is going to convince you otherwise (Star Fury), but you don't have to go around being a dick about it. I enjoyed MotA, didn't like Redemption, but trust that if David and the team wanted Felicia back, they'd do a good job.
Well. I wasn't being a dick.
I don't dislike Tallis when she's not being inconsistent, but her entire character is based on an inconsistency that we can't address with her within the DLC. I wouldn't mind her being an anomaly if it were only explained.

Well. I wasn't being a dick.Your idea of inconsistency/consistency seems to stem from a semantics disagreement when it comes to what combat/fighting means. To me, assassinations equal combat. Sten says in dialogue that women are "priests, artisans, shopkeepers or farmers", not "and also assassin's sometimes, but only if they immediately kill their mark because that for some reason means it doesn't count as combat"?

To Qunari it is not. Plus you're taking Sten's casual wording too literally. Sten later says he's disgusted with the idea women and children not fighting for their lives against the undead in Redcliff.
Anyway, Tallis says she's different from most Qunari because she wasn't raised in the Qun. The reason she doesn't care about killing the "mooks" but does about the guard is because he is just an innocent guard doing his job and the mooks were Antivan crows, i.e. professional murderers in the process of killing innocents. And the fact that Hawke can't stop her from escaping with the list is not a problem with the character itself, it;s a problem with the script of that scene.
Personally, I'd want to see more of her, but in a different role. I liked her becaus she breaks down stereotypes, (you don't have to be dour or evil to believe in the benefits of the Qun) I'm thinking maybe if a Qunari invasion arrives she could be a rival of the PC. I think she would really be more interesting if she wasn't always on our side.

So, no. I don't want to see her again.
In fact, making her a DLC character would work out well for me, since I could simply not buy it and ensure that I wouldn't see her again.

I prefer to get totally new companions. We have enough old faces showing up.
sorry, but she makes me want to murder-knive somebody (preverably her!)
i mean, you could do bad things to me,but i would never join those ****-communist-borg (the qunari) - as for me freedom (with all that entails - that's why i would love governments to controll their secret services (like the NSA) more in RL!) is the highest good (and i would trade it for nothing!)
greetings LAX
ps: no, i do not want her as a companion!

I couldn't care less about plot railroading. I hate Tallis because she's boring as hell. I liked everything else about Mark of the Assassin. I don't even mind Felicia Day as an actress or a writer, I think she's quite talented.Mykel54 wrote...
I think most players hate her not because of what she did, but because of what Hawke didn´t, and blame her character for the dlc being railroaded into a single outcome. That is not a fault of the character, it is a fault of the dlc.
But Tallis sucks. We had one "lolquirky" elf chick already. And I didn't like her either.

The vast majority of wildly successful voice actors are complete unknowns to mainstream media audiences, so you must think they all suck.Spaghetti_Ninja wrote...
How about being the main character of a show that ran for 7 season, a little show called ''THE WEST WING''. It's a thrill to listen to Martin Sheen, because he is somebody. He has an actual career.
If being on a long-running show is all it takes to prove that someone has a "career", is a "somebody" and is thus a "thrill to listen to", then let's have the entirity of DA:I be voiced by the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful, or Days Of Our Lives.

Though just to note the dlc character for the first game was a warrior (shale), the second a rogue (Sebastian), the third game should have a mage DLC character to make for a pleasant pattern.

I think Tallis is possible in DAI as an npc.
More likely in DA4 which I suspect will focus on the Qunari invasion.

Tallis is terrible character that to show how smart she is everybody intelligence is droped to zero she always win we can't prevent that even if we had many occasions to do that and what required average intelligence to the point when she literally she stands two steps from us holding qunari spy in thedas list and she want cause the death of millions to save spies we can say her that we will kill her then she says only "are you sure?" and throws no argument why we shoulnd't do that and our hawke looks at her when she very slowy leaves ,you can also want list to save milions but she will say that she won't give you list and that same scenario. She is qun blind fanatic well others may protect her because she seems have some doubts but i won't protect her because still we can argue with her and she will always be "qun is only right way to live you don't have right to resist"
This reminds me of a very dramatic letter I once read.
That was hilarious. Do you know if English was the second language of the person who wrote it or are they twelve? Man, that was some of the worst grammar, spelling, and cohesive writing I have ever heard and/or read.

I'd rather not see her again. Plus it was kind of jarring seeing her being the only Elf in the game without the crazy new Elf faces.

She supposed to be beautiful but that face mod lands her right at the nadir of uncanny valley. He's supposed to be an awesome fighter, but in combat she's the most useless companion since Loghain broke his sword and decided to slap the Archdemon to death.
For a Mary Sue I certainly ended up carrying her worthless ass one hell of a lot.

Honestly we hade a Warrior(esque) DLC companion in Origins, and Sebastian, A rogue, filled that role in DA2. So I'm hoping they follow the pattern and we get a Mage DLC companion this time around. Perhaps the Magister from the comics?
Yes, I was thinking that too.
I was a fan of the MotA dlc and would not mind seeing her in DAI as a side quest character. I would like to see a mission to the qunari homeland that involves her.

Source? Or are you just talking out of your arse and pulling numbers from no where as usual?
