I wouldn't mind.

I personally think one of the main problems with her was the majority of MOTA was it telling us how 'awesome' she was, but in the end we got such little time to really get to know her. Would be interesting to see her fleshed out more.

(However, if the other idea being tossed around of Cole being the DLC character is an option, I'd rather take that.)

Her accent was so horribly jarring and out of place in the game.

Even though several (all?) dwarves have American accents, as well as... actually, come to think of it, mostly everyone EXCEPT some Ferelden humans, I found her accent - maybe just her voice - not to fit in with the world.
She sounded like a high-school chearleader doing amateur theatre.

I hope Bioware only has professional voice actors that are GOOD do party members or any characters with large amounts of dialogue.

I haven't played MotA, so I don't have a personal opinion on her. But I will say that she shouldn't be in Inquisition only because she is a DLC character, so to the people who haven't played her DLC won't know her. It'll feel like she came out of nowhere. Kind of like how Kai Leng came out of nowhere to the people who didn't read the ME books.

But since I haven't played the DLC, I don't know what was so unlikable about her. Would someone care to elaborate. I heard people say she made Hawke and co. seems like morons, but how? What did she do to make people hate her so much?

Because game dont give to choice and force with to love character, when my Hawke must be kill her without doubt.

I don't think he was that far off the mark. Lets face it Felicia Day is gorgeous and talented, who would not be jealous of her ?

This. It doesn't matter whether I do or don't like Talis. The issue is we need something fresh.

Dragon Age (unlike Mass Effect) is the story of a world and it's inhabitants, not the story of a single hero and his/her motley assortment of friends.

Thus far, the pattern has been that we get one companion carried forward from the previous title.

Oghren followed from DAO to DAA.
Anders followed from DAA to DA2.
Verric followed from DA2 to DAI.

One is plenty. Let the rest be filled in with fleshed out background characters (like Isabela in DA2 and Cassandra in DAI) or all new characters (like every single other companion not mentioned in this post).

As far as I'm concerned, DAI has already hit their cap for re-used characters. I want every single other companion announced to be a brand-new character.

Fenris does neither of those things. He stands up to you, sure, but that's as far as it goes.

Well, I'm not female and I hate her guts. Well, perhaps not precisely her, but certain things about her presentation in MotA, specifically that she was the writer's pet at the expense of the protagonist's agency.

I she comes back in DAI, I want the opportunity to foil her plans so thoroughly that exactly the opposite of what she wants comes to pass.
