That's another reason, sure. On the whole, however, my desire to stab her in the face repeatedly stemmed from the conversations in the cell and after the Duke Prosper boss fight.

Added how she hs a mountain of flaws. You want to see a realy Mary sue.... Read the Mass Effect book series.

I don't want a dlc companion considering all of them should be in the base game, since they're central to the experience of a Bioware game and all. Either have Tallis/whoever or don't. The only companion that wasn't killable in Origins was Morrigan, and I doubt Tallis is as crucial to the plot as her. Therefore, those that didn't like her would probably get the chance to kill her somewhere.

Define the term "Mary Sue".
I assume Jessica Chobots character from the ME game she was in would be considered a mary sue.
I think it more likely Tallis will be an npc in DAI.

I don't like the idea of DLC characters in RPGs because, in most cases (with everything having a VA) they won't have lines acknowledging them from other characters. And I like interaction. `_^

Whether you like Tallis or not, I think it's only fair that players who enjoyed Mark of the Assassin should get something thrown at them in Inquisitor.

My feeling is that someone will mention Tallis along the line in some special "if you did this dialogue" of the kind that we totally LOVED in Mass Effect 3.

I think she a little too self-contained to be a companion - it's hard to stretch her concept into a character that runs along with the main plot, but shoot, I don't think it's a bad thing to make a DLC that uses her. I read horrible things about Dragon Age 2 before I bought it, and I ended up getting it just to play Felicia Day's story (and ended up liking Dragon Age 2 alright - although now I'm scared how much I'm going to HATE Male Hawke's voice) - if people like me made Bioware some additional DA2 sales, then we'll probably get another DLC.

I'd like to see Tallis... dead. I'm sorry, but I'm not too fond of immensely self-indulgent characters like this. Mark of the Assassin was a good DLC, but could've been a lot better if Hawke wasn't forced to stay with a companion who tries to make the story hers. Not to mention the character being created after an actual person(absolutely not interested in seeing fantasy characters take after people in real life, no matter who they are).

No matter what, this is the last thing I'd want to see in this game or even the rest of the franchise.

To be honest, her DLC disappointed me in that it lacked the choice I wanted which was to NOT give Talis the list of agents but instead hand it over to the Empress.

I feel bad for the innocents that might get caught in the crossfire but those Quanari agents took the risk of that when they infiltrated another nation with the intent to undermine it. Hopefully Oralis will have mercy on those duped into marriage and the children of said marriages but a nation has the right to defend itself from invaders and that is what those agents were.

Mary Sues are usually self inserts that everyone in the world seems to like from the getgo for no reason and are absolutely flawless to a horribly annoying degree, I don't think many Mary Sues have the amount of morally ambiguous level of flaws that Tallis seems to sweat out profusely, so Mary Sue is not really a title she can withold., I mean, at times, she sort of did feel like a self insert, but we're really only given, what, two, three gameplay hours of screentime with that one, after that, not much else is known about her. But to answer the question, it'd be cool to see her again, just not as a companion. also, fix those ears, they look like they were pasted onto her head or something.

I had nightmares the first time I saw it *shivers*. I never thought I could see such an ugly result of a face in a game like DA 2 where by default, the game tries to smoothen everything.
