Like most people, im really impressed and happy about what we have seen so far from this game. The one question mark I do have is about the actual character leveling/building. Juding by all the pax videos, it seems you have individual abilities like in the previous games, but only 3 assigned at one time, which seems to indicate a bigger focus on fluid, action oriented combat like a la the witcher. This of course isnt a bad thing, but I really liked the skill tree system in DA2, and having a system like that with lots of small trees would require a lot of different abilities, and im not sure that this game is going to take that route. Another thing id like the assigning of attributes such as strenght, stamina etc, but i doubt that we will get that.
Since ive always been into the character building aspect of rpgs, i really do hope that we will get a flexible system with multiple builds and subclasses for each class and lots of parameters to play around with. Do we have any other info or dev statements that cover this specific aspect of the game?
So, what do we know about the character building aspect of DA:I?
