based on the information and small amount of in-game material we have seen so far?
Personally, I am really psyched based on what I have seen. It looks like they are putting a lot of time and care into this installment imo.
What is your current opinion of Dragon Age: Inquisition......

I like what I have seen so far. Especially, the open-world like feel it seems to have.

I like what they have presented, then again I liked what they had presented about ME3 before it was released. I still don't think there's anything to get me excited.

Literally waiting for the day I can preorder it. I've never hated past games of BW although there were flaws in other games I still love biowares games and how they listen to fans.

Love what I see and have heard so far, though to be honest I don't watch a lot of the released material. I realize a lot of it will change between now and release, and I am a stickler for not wanting to see spoilers of any kind..
I am about as hyped as I can get anymore for a game, which is much less than when I was younger. Always better to go in with low expectations and be surprised and blown away, than to be have high-expectations and risk disappointment.

Really hoping enemies aren't just a few groups of uniformed minions to be honest. Everything else is cool.

I am excited for this game with almost every tidbit of information. Although not too happy about not being able to hoard health potions, game is going to make me be more tactical lol.

JCAP went too far in his opinion .
It's encouraging but it's still pre alpha.
I don't like the red lyrium / red templars storyline either but you can't expect the game to just have stuff you like and never have anything you dislike.
Waiting to see who the other party members are and for beta testing.

I like what I'm seeing right now, and generally optimistic about it. I'm also trying not to think too much about it as a lot can change within a year. But it looks good! As the release date gets closer, I'll decide then whether to buy close to release date or wait a few months for a cheaper price.

Well fair dues, a lot of what they have shown is very impressive, ambitious, and from just a gameplay standpoint it appears quite good. The combat is perhaps a bit more "actiony" (for lack of a better word) than I might like, but not the end of the world.
However in games like DA etc. what matter most to me is the story, narrative, and writing, which can't really be judged until after the games release.
So while I think what the DA team has revealed so far is interesting, and I commend them for the forthrightness they seem to be displaying with fans, I remain ultimately undecided until after the game comes out.

Pro:
Return of the isometric camera
Return of playable races (along with qunari)
The vast exploration hubs that are similar to old KOTOR, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect games but bigger, better, and more beautiful
Revamped dialogue choices
Cons:
Story still seems cliched.
The villain (red templars etc) irritates me because it's another group warped by either some lame plot device and demonic forces.
So yeah, it's the writing that worries me. Everything else looks great.

My opinion at the moment is: Where was all of this creativity, passion, and attention to detail with DA2??? DA2: forever destined to be the red-headed stepchild of the BioWare library of games.
It's looking like DA:I will continue the tradition of AAA games from BioWare that was only temporarily put on hold for the last few years.

I am so-so, to be honest. All the news & updates so far look very exciting, but I am cautious about new engine and changes it can bring. Qunary PC is ridiculous idea to be honest (at least, I hope it won't have romance options. Just imagine: "We shall proceed to my tent worthless creature as Qun orders me..."). And, of course, being burned by ME3 once I can't be seriously "hyped". Optimistic & looking forward to the game - yes, but not crazy about it.

i dont want to keep high hopes even when i have liked what have seen so far. The lesson from ME3 is still fresh in my mind:
"Better to keep low expectation and be pleasently surprised rather then to have high expectation be disapointed"
But some part of me dont like where they are taking the storyline, they may get lost on the way.
what i mean is that the number of loose ends that was added after DA2 may still be there unresolved, like warden and hawke disapearance. In order to keep the current storyline with DAI maybe they dont care about it. I dont know.

My current opinion? That I'm really excited, I'm getting 90+% of what I asked for, and the other ten can still happen, or let's say 6% can still happen.
I'm holding out hope they'll add an orlesian PC voice/background.

The playable Quanri has a personal name and a surname, hence they do not follow the Qun.
