I'm excited to see more to say the least.

Pro:
-return of player races (although I like humans, its nice to get to play as elves and dwarves again)
-playable Qunari (always nice to have a new playable race)
-armor that tailors to your character/companions
-the combat (from what little I seen it looks pretty amazing, the right mix of tactics and action)
-the graphics (looks amazing)
I do admit though, with all the bells and whistles I do remain somewhat cautious. I hope that with all the good stuff we don't wind up with a watered-down game full of autodialogue, PC-centric/sexual characters, and, Maker forbid, reliance on multiplayer and online. And I hope they keep the games for the 360 and PS3 for those of us who played through the games on our consoles.

Not impressed with gameplay.
The combat looks exactly the same as Witcher: semi twitch combat, dodge roll with detached camera. Environments look way to empty. I hate how dialogue wheel has so much hand holding. Showing the better explanation for your decisions is fine, but showing what the outcome will be... really?
The only thing that has me interested in DA:I is that qunari will be playable.
As for story this was expected:
SPOILERS
So the main antagonist is trying to become a god and take over the world... again!
Not that I doubt you on this, but where did that information come from?

No offense. But i can easily see Bioware doing this.
DA2 leaks and ME3 leaks all turned out to be true and this is probably no different.

None taken, since I don't work for Bioware.
Where did you find this 'leak'? I noticed you didn't respond to iakus.

The original concept for the dialogue wheel was not to use it for hard choices, remember. It's called the "DIALOGUE WHEEL" and not the "choice wheel" and if there's as much auto-dialogue as in ME3 I'm simply not gonna like it. I want to BE my character and have as much control over him as possible, unlike in ME3 or The Witcher where half the dialogue from the protagonist is predetermined.

Maybe. I hope so. But that talk about n elven ambassador reminds me of this concept art.hhh89 wrote...

I certainly hope it's fake but Red Templars as main enemy? Yeah, I could see it.

I'm somewhat wary of this Red Templar business, and a little concerned about the companions. None of the rumored ones have really captured my imagination, but I suppose that might change once I encounter them in game.
A pre-order

Someone posted it on Witcher site where DA:I is being discussed
en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php
Y i quoted him at the end because i couldn't agree more with his statement.

@MisterJB: That elf is the same that they shown in other concept, only older and with the DA2 elf feature. Plus, ambassador of what?
That 'leak' is (sigh, in my opinion) a troll attempt after the red templar announcement. Where are Seekers, the mages, the elves, the Wardens? Red 'Fist'? Gold 'Keys'?
If this will be real, I'll apologize, but I don't see how it could be real right now.

It seems a little boring but, it's not as if the Archdemon was that much better in DAO. I can live with it.
But it's the Grey Wardens and Darkspawn Corypheus has inffluence over. It's the Grey Wardens we see the Inquisition attacking in the trailer. So, what is the point of creating a faction of maddened Templars when all hints point to Grey Wardens being more appropriate servants for Corypheus?

- The large open areas that you can explore
- The return of tactical combat
- The inclusion of DA2 characters in your party like Varric and Cassandra
- The ability to shape the political landscape of Thedas as the Inquisitor
- That the story will take place in different locales of Thedas
- The return of Morrigan
All in all, Bioware has me suitably hyped up for this game. Let's hope it live up to it.

About their creation, I'm not a fan. I think that they divided the templars at war in two to make a comparison with blood mages. We'll see if I'm right.
As long as there is a templar faction (at war) that it's not related with the red lyrium (as I believe and said multiple times) I can live with it.

The leak speaks of siding with an elven ambassador; of the elven rebellion or alliance between city elves and dalish, perhaps; and in that concept art, we see the Inquisitor stand beside who is, clearly, an importsnt elf and leading what I assume to be elves to a "new home".hhh89 wrote...

It seems to me the connection is there.
It's obviously very bare bones and there have been false leaks before (like that one about the Normandy Squad searching for Shepard after the ending) but it sounds plausible enough for these "barebones" to make up the fulcrum of the plot. Things like Mages, Non-Red Templars (if there are any) and Seekers might be added latter.
Anyway, someone should probrably make a thread about this "leak" so we don't hijack this one.

It sounds more that you're jumping to conclusions. We don't even know what's going on yet, how can we ask why it's happening yet?MisterJB wrote...
I think the "leak" loses credibility when they claim the Red Templars are the main antagonists, tough. It is canon that Corypheus survives and that he had invanded the Black City once. So, using him as a villain is fine.

4chan has never been bull****ting about leaks before. Where would the Tevinter guys enter the picture at all in that scenario?
Obviously, they would worship Corypheus and thus, Thrasks' dreams of mages and templars working together becomes a reality.

I'm quite sure this is made up. First, the Empress is currently missing after the events of DA: Asunder which means she can't hold a ball. Second, the Red templars are not the only group we know of in the game. The Venatori seem more likely to be working for the main anatangist. Sorry, but the templar/mage war is likely to be a side story just like the Orleasian civil war. The main story is stoping these demon portals/tears in the veil which are appearing across thedas.
