Question: do you know if attributes are the same as the previous DA games, or will they be changing anything?

Did they make example about different reactions in the game based on your race?

Will anyone have any questions?
Doesn't look like it.
You needy drama queen.
News on mage and magic (combat-wise, I'd rather discover the storyline ones by playing the game).

So I've been at PAX for almost all the panels, and I have some time to kill. I can answer any questions the developers themselves have answered in one way or another.
Fire away and stuff, if you want.
Have they spoken about any of the specializatons for the different classes? For example, can we still expect to use Blood Magic, Spirit Healer and Force Mage ala DA2, or will it be more similar to DA:O...or something entirely different?

Also can you go into detail about any changes to crafting and creating weapons they might of mentioned. Thanks in advance.

Heya, it's Upsettingshorts!

They have not said anything about stats or attributes specifically. I get the impression that a lot of the things that have to do with balance (like stats) are a long way from being locked down.

Are the red templars reflective of the Inquistion's villains in where the factions are just mindless/crazy/indoctrinated mooks with no principle or actual beliefs?
I want a worthy opponent. A magnificent bastard that makes me sit back and consider his points before I even attack.
I hope that question makes sense.

Did you ask anything about how crafting will work?
Me personally? No. But they did talk about it a little:
The gist is, as the Inquisitor, you "have people for that." As in, subordinates. The general idea is you find (or specifically go out in hope of finding) materials in the world (which can vary from ores to plants to even noxious gas, which is what your men were harvesting in that clip before they get eaten by a dragon) which your subordinates can use to craft things.
Customization along those lines involve a staggeringly complicated (paraphrasing their words) item crafting system. You will be able to, for example, find an item whose look you like and continuously upgrade it to remain competitive in the late game. If you're familiar with SWTOR, it is effectively similar to being able to mod orange items with upgraded parts. In DAI, you can also use different materials or patterns to change how an item looks.
When you equip new items to a companion, they will - as previously described - retain elements of their visual theme, but if you put say... a mage in heavy armor, their armor will look heavy. (Yes, you can equip heavy armor on mages).
Also, when you seize a keep, you will then be able to customize what its purpose is: Espionage, military, other (I forget the other ones) and each focus has a different appearance. You will have many keeps in many lands with subordinates doing many things for you (like gathering materials).

Can you PLEASE ask about the villains of Dragon Age?
They aren't volunteering any information about the story. Basically, if they aren't showing it in videos, none of the questions along those lines are really getting answered.

Anything specific about the races? (Dwarves)
The last name of a protagonist Dwarf is seen in the video (in reference to the save file associated with the character) and it is CADASH.
Also, dwarves still cannot be mages.
Finally, Dagna makes an appearance in the demo. I jokingly asked Luke what happens if you sent her back to her dad in Origins and he replied, while laughing, "She's dead!" (Note: I wouldnt necessarily take that answer seriously)

Hi, I've been hanging out with shorts the whole weekend at the same panels so I'll take this one.
No details about the red templars beyond their existence and the possibility of messing with their boats. Story is also not being discussed at this time.
As for races there was a hint that there may be one quest/area that may be impossible to finish if you are a Qunari. Presumably other races have advantages or disadvantages like this. They did not say anything explicit like "there will be exactly X instances of the game acknowledging your race" but the takeaway for me was they didn't want to miss any major opportunities. they want to make sure you aren't being continually beaten down if your character's race proves disadvantageous therefore the racial prejudice may fade away as the PC's authority as inquisitor increases.
