Not really in a position to ask new questions, sorry.  In any case, stuff like that definitely seemed to fall under "unlikely to receive an answer as it's still being worked on."

The last name of a protagonist Dwarf is seen in the video (in reference to the save file associated with the character) and it is CADASH.

Also, dwarves still cannot be mages.

Finally, Dagna makes an appearance in the demo.  I jokingly asked Luke what happens if you sent her back to her dad in Origins and he replied, while laughing, "She's dead!"  (Note:  I wouldnt necessarily take that answer seriously)


Thank you, how did she look? Was she station in one of the keeps? :D

Did they talk about class specializations at all (ranger, arcane warrior etc)?

It is in, correct? If so, what classes did they mention if any?

Where does Dagna appear in the demo? She wasn't there in the demo vids as far as I saw.

In other words, they are looking into making prestinging more impactful, thinking like the special quests you had to do for some of the specializations (Origins' Reaver, for example)... and this time perhaps without the (apparently unintentional) "feature" of cross-character specialization unlocking.

Allow me to clarify:  I meant in the sense of retaining an items look while upgrading its stats it is a useful comparison to make.  How the system itself functions isn't going to be the same.

Can you tell us anything about the text that shows when you hover over a selection?
Is it only for action sequences or is used for other things?

She's in the keep somewhere.  She's not easy to spot, I missed her myself and had to be told.

By the way, did you actually see the mage heavy armour? I'm having a hard time picturing it, especially on Vivienne.

I believe it is for choices that result in an action, but I am not entirely sure myself.  I'm definitely going to try and get that clarified at some point.

In the example in the game you are basically choosing how to respond to the Red Templars sieging one of your keeps.  So knowing exactly what tactic you're ordering your men to respond with is important and not a thing you want to get wrong because you didn't understand the paraphrase.

There was a question about beards in the race panel and the reply from Matt Rhodes implied that certain things about character customization were still just on paper. I'm curious about this myself and will ask if I run into Bioware people again.

No we were not shown a mage in heavy armor, however it was a question that was specifically answered by Mike Laidlaw at a panel.

There are apparently multiple strongholds to take over and customize. Doing so helps establish Inquisition presence in an area.

You get lots of them.  But you have to take them, it seems.   The castle attack seen in the videos was weakened by numerous previous actions described - but not shown - during the presentation (like poisoning their well, luring out and killing their patrols, etc).

We've seen that warriors can throw grappling hooks and break down doors, and heard that mages can rebuild bridges and create walls of ice to block enemies, has anything been shown about special exploration/combat abilities unique to rogues?

David Gaider confirmed on his tumblr that the crow that's been appearing in concept art isn't actually in the game.
