While I liked how my character could choose to be involved with almost every party member in DA2, what DA2 did was give convenience over realism.
Why should every party member be BI? DA:O depicted a realistic scenario - some straight people, some BI , hell it should have also included Lesbian/Gay characters too - that is how life is. It is much more interesting because you feel like you're in a real setting not one with artificial robots which are designed by creators to all be BI to please the player.
Party Members' Sexual Orientation - like in DA:O or DA2?

ME3, only more equal.
2 straight, 2 bi and 2 ******.
Of course, this is my opinion.

Genderlock vs playersexual. Both are horrible tbh. I rather they go the Sam route for them.
Also not all party members where bi in DA2, only Isabela was, I wish people would understand sexuality, genderlock and playersexual.

Either would be fine, but if they made them all Bi again this time I hope they would atleast flesh out each possible romance and not just have exactly the same dialogue for a man or woman romancing whomever.

I agree with OP. It just makes play-throughs... inconvenient in certain situations. Also please no ME3 way of more straight female options than straight male options.

I don't care how realistic it is, I just wanna set my character up with whomever I want.

I don't think it's feasibly possible for me to give less of a damn. Go DA2 if they want.
I'm not one to be bothered by the fact that my character's LI likes a different set of genitalia in some other alternative dimension.

Characters should be just that. Characters first. Romances come later.

I like the all-bisexual romances (or playersexual, if you prefer). Same amount of content for everyone, best use of resources. In a perfect world, I'd rather have a variety of sexualities, but this is a game, and games have costs. I'd rather have more spent elsewhere, as opposed to adding two more romances.
Just my opinion.

They're not bi. They're just romances that are available to everyone.

I'm sure they've said they will go down the inclusivity and equality route again. That means playersexual.

I see the never-ending cycle of BSN has begun anew.
This is worse than the Reapers.

I really hope they have exclusive romances based on gender or even species.
But that's probably just me.

At the moment I couldn't really care less how people feel about this (It's been discussed to death anyway, and It's never pretty). What I want to know, in light of recent PAX statements, are what Bioware will actually be doing. I don't want to see choice reduced.

More of actually showing a preference than gender-locking

The romances felt so lifeless to me. I liked that they were playersexual, it allowed different meanings. But in DA2 it felt boring. I think it because there was less dialogue between your character and the person you wanted to romance. If there is more interactions between you and the character be it friendship or romance, I think I could actually like it.

I'm so sick of these threads, and I'll be bitterly disappointed if Bioware did listen to the whiners and decided that the Filthy Degenerate Bisexuals and Homosexual fictional characters need to be segregated from the Clean and Pure Heterosexual fictional characters.
None of these characters know that there are other versions of the player character. They may be homosexual. They may be bisexual. They may have had a declared sexual orientation, but once they meet a particular player character, they choose to be with them whether or not they're "acceptable" within the bounds of that declared orientation.
If the writing is good, any of those scenarios (or any other) is realistic. Because people are not all alike.

The different playable races alone, especially the Qunari, will make for some interesting romances lol

Again?
I'm hoping for Cassandra to be available to femInquisitor, not just male. That's all i want.
Also, if they won't go with the playersexual route i'm hoping 2 gay/bi/str8 equally. Don't want them to pull another Mass Effect.
