If Jacob and Thane had proper actual romance content then sure

Excuse me, i'm going to fix that for you. We had only 2 options: Liara and Sam. Kelly and Allers aren't romances at all (Kelly was supposed to be a serious romance but ME team did the thing again)

Because it's not equal.
Would you be okay with only one romance option for the sexuality you like your character to be (which also reflects your real life sexuality perhaps) knowing that other people get to have more?
Nice try troll.
A gay player should not have his/her content limited simply because they want to make a character that reflects who they are in the real world.

personally, I like the direction of ME3 but whatever... player never enough with their option anyway.
throw in 5:2 exclusive option for them, they still want that 2 and complain.
It's easy for people to not complain when they have more romances pandered to them than just 1 or 2 homosexual.
Let people complain for wanting some fair treatment.
I talking about 5 gay and 2 straight...
Even with 5 option, some people still want the straight 2 to be gay for them to romance.

The best bit is that female Shepard techically has four, but over the course of Mass Effect 3 one dies and one leaves her for another woman.
Amazingly all of male shepards LI's can not only stay alive but are 100% loyal.

Yeah, Jacob out and out dumps you and Thane dies before you can 'complete' the romance. In that time, I think you can ruin your chances of ever having a romance too,

Not to mention I would rather watch Thane's death over and over again then romance Kaidan's boring lesphobic ass.

Sigh...fair for you, maybe. And since when does percentages of the population dictate how many romance options there ought to be in a game?

His romance can be continued with alot of decent amount of content, a sex scene and a romance good bye in ME3. Thanes romance is hardly continued in ME3 and Jacob cheats and leaves you. So ya that's not continuation.Lenimph wrote...

Kaidan might be dead, Jacod cheats on you no matter what, Thane dies no matter what, Garrus might be dead. Choices are kinda limited here.
As much as I adore Thane (and by gods do I adore him, his character is awesome on all fronts), that BS of killing him off in a completely stupid and moronic way and taking away my choice to stop him from basically commiting suicide makes me never want to romance him again.
Good thing Garrus is the baddest ass this side of the galaxy! Archangel is my boyfriend, yo!

Bioware has made huge progress lately in getting more and more equitable in their romance options, which is why I have full faith in them that they will do right by us.

If you count one night stands as "romances"
Even though you can consider all of ME romances to be that in a way

Exactly I wanted to have a relationship with Bethany in DA2, BioWare wouldn't let me, they're such bigots.
Edit:
On another note, so you want free reign to bang everything that walks, talks or squats in the mud. I've been remiss, the real world and people catter to your every whim and it should be reflected in a video game. All men you meet turn gay for you, God damn Bioware for limiting content that stops you reflecting your magnatism on all people in the vicinity, what bastards.

Stating a simple fact makes me a troll? A developer shouldn't write characters that are open to romance the PC in all scenarios for the sake of appeasing a small percentage of their fanbase which thinks the existence of heterosexual romance options is some sort of injustice. NPCs should have different sexualites just as they have different personalities and views. Should a romance with a radical mage be possible for a player who always stands with the Templars for the sake of "being fair"?sandalisthemaker wrote...
