And since we are talking about equity in Bioware games, here's a fun fact: there have only been 6 males available for same sex romance EVER in Bioware games. Four of them are in ME 3 and DA 2. Up to that point, the only options were Sky and Zevran.

Bioware has made huge progress lately in getting more and more equitable in their romance options, which is why I have full faith in them that they will do right by us.

Yep, this is one of the reasons that BW has earned so much of my respect, despite the mistakes they will (unevitably) make. Heck, let's go back to Hordes of the Underdark- male PC could technically have two women, but female PC didn't. Good thing I like Tieflings. Velen was my first foray into a BW romance and it's what's got me hooked on their games in a more general sense.

Because I seriously enjoy his romance way more then Kaidan for goodness sake.

Elfman, if I was in a setting like Dragon Age where homosexuality was considered an odd personality quirk and people are generally considered "straight" unti proven otherwise, I might find it useful to let a potential partner of the same gender know that I'm open to such relationships.

I see your point...but at the same time...just to outright say it like Anders did? As a gay guy, I found that to be very forced, in a way.

To be fair, Justice turned to Vengeance. Why can't Desire turn to Compassion or outright Love?

They should have different sexualites just as they have different personalities and views. Should a romance with a radical mage be possible for a player who always stands with the Templars?

No. Your comment targeted sexuality.  You imply that since gays make up a tiny fraction of the population, they should just settle for less and be greatful with less.  Easy for you to say this since the shoe is not on the other foot. 
And yes. You indeed are a troll when it comes to romance/sexuality threads.  Billy is here.  I'm just waiting for Volus and Enigmatik now.

You do know Thane does not give you the romance achievment in ME3 yes? Thane has a very awkward kiss scene that makes no sense and a half assed hospital scene that again was poor which makes Allers romance look great, and Thanemancers do not get the romance achievment.Even the writers admitted they forogt he was a proper romance.

NPCs should have different sexualites just as they have different personalities and views. Should a romance with a radical mage be possible for a player who always stands with the Templars for the sake of "being fair"?

Except ypu can romance a radical mage while also being a big supporter of the Templars.

I tend to roleplay characters who get a rush out of toying with death, but who knows. I'd probably play Bioware games a bit differently if they could kill you permanently.
