Commander Shepard is facing off against the perenial Champion Link and the Reddit-backed Draven in the third round of the GameFAQs Character Contest, and (s)he needs your votes.

We need to rally for an underdog Shepard Victory!

I voted for him, but oh boy, "underdog" is unfortunately the exact right term to use... 11 % of the votes at this point, I doubt he'd come back from that.

What's worse is that this Draven guy is winning. The description says he's from League of Legends, which I believe is an online game of sorts? Maybe I'm wrong, but I just imagine that there's not a whole lot of personality behind such a character...
Internet, you disappoint me again :-(

(/obviously biased, but don't care)

1) Shepard is a brick without any personality
2) The contest measures only popularity; if you don't like that or don't find it relevant then just ignore it

1) I disagree. Most of his/her personality isn't predefined, but there are certain traits that apply to any and all Shepards.

2) You seem a bit hostile, or maybe that's just the tricky workings of written language. But anyway, I'd already forgotten about it before I saw this thread again, so it's safe to say I don't care a whole lot. I just merely wished for Shepard to have more votes, especially when the one in the lead didn't sound like a particularly brilliant character. But maybe I'm wrong. *shrug*

It is a huge deficit, but it's also a 24hr poll. There's plenty of time to get votes rolling in. It would just be nice if they could post something on the official ME Facebook / Twitter pages.
