Not from day 1, but been playing for over a year now. Hard to say what keeps me playing...

But surely

1) I couldn't care less about my manifest, so I guess that helps

2) bsn awesome people does a great job

2) He´s talking about me.

1) A dozen UR to go or something like that and 7 Million credits saved up. This weekend will be the days of the days!

@ Op: Fast paced action shooter with teamplay elements, good grahics and all of that in a fantastic setting that is actually NOT PVP but coop? Yes please. Not much of those around. Warframe sucks. Mass Effect rules. All Hail to the King baby!

I first played the demo. There have been a few gaps, though. For the first month of its release I didn't play much MP because I kept on having connection issues.

What keeps me playing? It's addictive, and there aren't many other games right now I'm interested in.

I went for over a year. Stopped a month or two ago. It started out with real life **** getting in the way; hadn't even turned on my Xbox for a few weeks until recently. At this point, the addiction has faded, and since I haven't played in months, I doubt I could keep up with my friends that still play if I hopped on.

Might give it another go at some point, but given my experience, I think that what kept it going was the sheer momentum of it combined with a few different good groups of friends to play with. Part of it may have been the RNG gods, but even when I had maxed my manifest (unmaxed by the final DLC), I still kept playing a fair amount.

Really, though, if not for Jack Crapper, Reverand, rcolol, and a few others that I can't remember the names of (the folks I played with the most), I probably would have quit well before a year was up. It was friends and being able to joke around that kept it fun.

I played from day one all the way until the final DLC was released. Maxed my manifest then played a little while longer. Stopped playing because banners weren't enough incentive to carry on and because Bioware announced they would no longer be supporting the game... even when it still had a ton of bugs to fix. The Mercinary key bindings bug was an absolute joke and I know for a fact, all Bioware needed to do was add one line of code to fix it but they didn't so I couldn't be bothered to play their game anymore.

I can't bring myself to replay the single player trilogy anymore either knowing how badly the series ends. If ME4 somehow fixes the story or makes it exciting again then I'll replay the quadrilogy but if not, then goodbye mass effect.

I am not a day 1er, but I'm pretty close, less than a month after release I'd say,

I play to rofl-stomp enemies and allies alike en mass
