(As a Qunari Inquisitor)

Varric: Hey Inquisitor did you hear about the attack on that bakery shop last night?
Inquisitor: No.
Varric: Yeah they said someone broke into the shop, but here's the weird thing they didn't take the money all they seemed to take were five pounds of cookies.
Inquisitor: W-well I can't be concerned with such petty issues the world is falling apart.
Varric: And the authorities think there were two robbers at the scene, don't you think we should work try and figure out who did this.
Iron Bull: (sounds like he's talking food in his mouth) No!
Varric: But?
Inquisitor: (mouth filled with cookies) We said no!

Really good one

Men... some of this pieces are quite better than the official stuff... Now the party banter will be so dull. I will think "Men, that sh*t on BSN was way better."

*Qunari inquisitor*

Varric: So let me get this straight.
Inquisitor: What is it now varric?
V: A Qunari is one of the Qun
I: Yes
V: And if someone doesn't follow the Qun, he is no longer Qunari
I: Correct.
V: And in the Qun, there can be found dwarves, elves, humans and
I: and?
V: *sigh* forget i asked, seems my book will get a new title.
I: Book?
V: Tall, dark, and horny.

Here are two little conversations that I’ve come up with. Sorry if they sound weird in some parts, English isn’t my first language. Image IPB

Varric: Vivienne, you should really stop wearing that hat.
Vivienne: My choice of clothing is none of your business, dwarf. You people from the Marches don’t have the slightest idea of fashionable headgear.
Varric: Oh, I didn’t mean to question your sense of degenerated orlesian fashion, your highness. I was just afraid the inquisitor might walk into something while staring at you like a moron.
Qunquisitor: I am not staring like a moron. I just don’t understand why a human woman and mage would want to imitate a qunari.
Vivienne: What? This is about fashion! I need to always make a respectable impression if I ever want to…
Varric: Stop it already, Vivienne, we all know you are only trying to get the inquisitor’s attention with those attractively shaped curves.
Vivienne: This is ridiculous.
Qunquisitor: Indeed. It’s not working.
Vivienne: That’s not what I … gnnhh, forget about it! You both just have no idea what it means to be a woman of reputation in Orlais and how important it is to follow the current trends!

----------------------------------------------------

Varric: And he’s staring again.
Qunquisitor: Me?
Varric: Of course. I wonder what you are always thinking when you look at our charming enchanter like that. Would you mind telling me what it is? Don’t be afraid to share the details, I can take it.
Qunquisitor: It’s nothing.
Varric: Come on. You can trust me, I won’t tell anyone.
Vivienne: Sure, Varric. You know I can hear the two of you, right?
Varric: Ignore her.
Qunquisitor: You don’t want to hear it.
Vivienne: Just tell that annoying dwarf already, so we can move on.
Varric: You heard the lady.
Qunquisitor: I just thought about how much more peaceful our travels would be if she did not only wear the horns of a qunari, but also had her lips sewed together like all of our Saarebas. Also, I imagined that Cassandra would probably be glad to be her Arveraad and hold her leash.
Vivienne: What?!
Qunquisitor: I told you that you wouldn’t want to hear it, but since you both insisted...
Varric: And there goes any chance of peaceful travels in the future. Couldn’t you just have told her how attractive her hat looks?
Qunquisitor: It doesn’t.
Vivienne: Oh, it doesn’t? *snaps her fingers, producing small flames*
Varric: I… suggest you keep your mouth shut for now, if you don’t want to get us roasted, inquisitor.
Vivienne: How about we sew it together, when we’re at it?

Inquisitor: I think Varric had a point about your knife back there, Cassandra.

Cassandra: What are you on about, Inquisitor?

Inquisitor: You, stabbing the map before I sent troops to garrison our Keep in Ferelden, Nevarra, Orlais, and just about keep we set a war room with a map in.

Varric: Here I thought she only had something against books this entire time, especially the one in Kirkwall.

Inquisitor: A book? My-my Cassandra, I didn't know your hatred of inanimate objects stretched to reading material. (Chuckles)

Cassandra: (Pretends not knowing what Varric talking about) W-what book?

Varric: The one that you decided to puncture instead of my groin.

Varric: Hey, pissst, Horny!
QunQuizzy: WHat?! Are you talking to me Varric? And I'm NOT horny.
Varric: *laughs* Nope! But you've got horns alright!
QunQuizzy: So I take it, that's your nickname for me?
Varric: What else did you think I meant Horny?
QunQuizzy: You know, if you keep calling me that in front of others, people are going to give us strange looks.
Varric: And why shouldn't they? Not sh*tting you but With your height you're bound to get strange looks anyway. And tell me, what are those hornes used for hm? do you get to charge at each other in some kind of weird tournament or some other crazy sh*t? Don't worry, I've been in Kirkwall long enough to be able to take anything.
QunQuizzy: *chuckles* No Varric. It's more of a sexual attraction part. Any Qunari who has more glorious horns, gets to mate more.
Varric: *laughs* so....maybe you should test it on the Seeker and Choc-Ice. For laughs of course.
QunQuizzy: No Varric. I don't use my horns like that. I don't follow the Qun.
Varric: So, what do you use them for?
QunQuizzy: I.....er....use them...to 'borrow' cookies from kids....ahem.
Varric: You and your cookie thing, now that's a story worth hearing!
QunQuizzy: Maybe...later..Varric....later.

Inquisitor: *Sigh* You do this every time, you know?
Cassandra: Are we talking to me now?
Inquisitor: Yes, what exactly possessed you to BLOW UP THE DOOR?!
Cassandra: Hm? I only knocked to see if anybody was home.
Inquisitor: You....wait, what?
Cassandra: I hardly touched the door. It can't be helped if the wood is fragile.
Vivienne: You know what they say, my dear Inquisitor...some jobs require a woman's special touch.
Varric: Ah-ha! Looks like the Seeker really does have the touch of a woman then!
Inquisitor: ...Now I'm starting to regret letting those hands anywhere near me.
Varric/Vivienne: Ooh...?
Inquisitor: I...I never said anything! March!
Varric: Oh, calm down. You look about ready to blow up.
Inquisitor: March!

Cassandra: Aveline? Why, did she used an similar shield technique?
Varric: Not at all.
Cassandra: Because she had an strong sense of duty?
Varric: Nope.
Cassandra: What then?
Varric: It's just that I never thought I would see an woman shaped as an battering ram again.
Cassandra: Varric, I swear, one of these days....

I would like to hear this one if Hawke simbling is an party member.

Varric: Sunshine, what would Hawke say?!
Bethany: What are you talking about Varric?
Varric: You know what I'm talking about. You and the Inquisitor last night at the keep. I swear anyone could hear it.
Bethany: What?! That's impossible! I made sure not to make too much noise and....
Varric: Heh, got you.

Cassandra: (sigh) I didn't signed up for this.

Cassandra: "How does it feel, first enchanter? To have the circle, everything your life was built around, be destoryed?"

Vivienne: "I am hardly alone in that regard, dear. The Chantry you served is in disarray as well, is it not?"

Cassandra: "A fair point, but my job has always been to fight the agents of chaos. I may serve the Inquisition now, but I am still doing what I have done for years"

Vivienne: "As am I, dear. I've been fighting the influence of demons since the day I was born"

Varric: It's been a wild ride hasn't it Seeker?
Cassandra: What are you on about now dwarf?
Varric: You know, everything. You throwing me in chains, interrogating me about the Champion and stabbing a few books for good messure. A lot has happened since then.
Cassandra: A 'wild ride' isn't how I would describe doing my duty to the Chantry.
Varric: Oh, admit it, you're loving every minute of it. Getting to know exactly what happened Kirkwall, joining our charming Inquisitor on a quest to save the world. You keep talking about duty, but deep down I think you actually like the thrill of it all.
Cassandra: You might see this as a great adventure Varric, but I'm here to prevent the world from burning itself to the ground. Nothing more.
Varric: The two don't have to be mutually exclusive you know. One of these days you are going to wake up and realize that you actually enjoy what we are doing. And when you do, I'll be right here, basking in the fact that I was right.
Cassandra: (after a brief pause) Hmm, there are some perks to be had in interesting company I suppose *eyeing the Inquisitor*
Varric: There you go seeker. There you go.

Hmmmm...I'll take a stab at this.

Something between a female mage inquisitor (or possibly another mage character), and Cullen. (This would be if you've expressed a more balanced approach to the mages and Templars, neither exclusively pro-mage or pro-templar.)

Inquisitor: You know, Cullen, we're not the enemy.
Cullen: I never said you were, Inquisitor. Or any mage. But those with magic face a greater risk that most people do not.
Inquisitor: I agree.
Cullen: I...you agree?
Inquisitor: I understand the purpose the Templars once had. To be guardians and protectors.
Cullen: That... is true.
Inquisitor: Most mages want what you want, Cullen. Security for those around them. But we also want to be treated as people. And that is what many Templars have failed to do.
Cullen: ...
Inquisitor: I hope you will prove to be something your fellows have forgotten.
Cullen: ...I am not sure what to say. I will have to think on this.

I would like to write a version of this if the Inquisitor and Cullen are in a romance or if another companion is present. But I can't think of any... Anyone want to take this one and expand it?:wizard:

DwarfInquisitor,Varric and Iron Bull

Varric: It feels good to have a Dwarf in charge of something important.

DwarfInq: Yea and to think that I was the one that was saying the sky is dangerous.

Varric: Well I pretty sure all dwarves are at the Tavern having a drink right now.

DwarfInq: What are we doing here then? We should be joining them.

Varric: Inquistior, you wouldn't be able to out drink me *chuckles*

DwarfInq: *Laugh* I accept the challenge.

Iron Bull: Now this will be good to see.

Cullen: What we were talking about before.
Inquisitor: Do go on.

Here I'm thinking that the dialogue could be different based on wether the player's been more neutral, pro mage or pro templar. I'll do the dialogues in that order aswell.
1. (Neutral)
Cullen: I still don't know if keeping the mages guarded is the right thing to do. But to protect the innocent from the horrors that could dwell within any mage is what we were sworn to do, even at the cost of the mages' freedom. But perhaps the templars need to change aswell. We were supposed to guard the world from the mages, but we were also supposed to guard the mages from the world. I think most templars forgot that part, though.
Inquisitor:...
Cullen: But know that I'd rather die than seeing you hurt, my dear. I'll guard you against the world if that's what it takes to keep you safe.
Inquisitor: Cullen...
Cullen: And know that if the time ever came when you need to be stopped for the good of all, I'd be there to stop you. Even if it'd break my heart.

2.(Pro mage)
Cullen: I'll never forget the horrors I saw at the circles in Ferelden or in Kirkwall. Blood magic and abominations will haunt my dreams for the rest of my life. But perhaps it was as much our fault as theirs. If mages had been allowed to live free from the templars, maybe those things never would have happened.
Inquisitor:...
Cullen: You said that you felt safe with me, and know that no matter what may come in the future, I'll never let you get hurt, my love. This I swear to you.
Inquisitor: Cullen...
Cullen: You showed me something that I had forgotten, and perhaps every other templar aswell. Just because you're a mage doesn't mean that you aren't a human being. You feel fear, sadness, joy and... love, just like anyone else. Won't I ever forget it again.

3. (Pro templar)
Cullen: Look at what the world's gone to ever since the mages broke free! It can't just be a coincidence. The maker is clearly showing us what will happen to the world if we let these mages go free. For the good of all, even for themselves, they need to be stopped.
Inquisitor:...
Cullen: You told me you felt safe with me, and know that I'll take on the world to protect you, my love, but by my sworn duty and for all our safety I need to keep an eye on you aswell. You know this is necessary aswell, right?
Inquisitor: Cullen...
Cullen: You may not be like most mages, but your kind has brought nothing but destruction to Thedas. I pray to the maker that we won't be stopping them too late.
Cullen: And know that if the time ever came when you need to be stopped
for the good of all, I'd be there to stop you. Even if it'd break my

Seriously though, I've never been part of the Cullen fandom (or any DA-fandom for that matter!), but I enjoy writing stuff like this. Hopefully DA:I will break the trend and get me really involved with the characters this time around. It looks promising enough.

Wow! This was really great! :o I am especially impressed by the follow-up conversations that you made that differ depending on your character's choices towards the Mage/Templar situation. Though the basic structure is the same, each version has its own unique flavor.

Anyway, I think this has been fun, so I might do another, this one is between Varric and a Dwarf Inquisitor, specifically a female surface dwarf who's in a more positive relationship with Varric (making compassionate choices). It's not as good as the one with Cullen, but oh well.

Inquisitor: Varric?
Varric: Something on your mind, Inquisitor?
Inquisitor: Did you grow up underground? In Orzammar or Kal'sharok? (Can't remember how to spell it.)
Varric: My family was from Orzammar, but they were exiled to the surface. I was born topside. As I have told others before you, sunshine suits me just fine.
Inquisitor: Have you ever visited there before?
Varric: Not really a place for someone like myself. I misplaced my dwarven pride and my noble caste pin.
Inquisitor: ...I see...
Varric: What about you?
Inquisitor: I've grown up on the surface all of my life. I've never been there. I was hoping maybe you had...and perhaps you could tell me about it.
Varric: I may not have been there, but take my advice when I say you probably wouldn't like it there.
Inquisitor: Oh?
