I'm familiar with the scaling trick, but will that allow the equipped weaponry to stay in hand and scale as well?

Pstemarie:
I don't dig the scaling trick. I've used it in a variety of instances and have found that the tail model and invisible model are frequently incongruent with one another so its been much more useful to me to have the same model in different sizes.
Nevertheless this is a very focused use: we have all the Duergar models to play with (and add to the tail list), AND we have invisible dwarf models for scaling so the weapon use and creature highlight might actually work out.

One of the lot of things I love about your duergar is the really sinister looks you give to them. Have you think of create a sort of duergar wizard that plays with the deep dark magic of the underdark?

You should also consider working on dwarven npcs to go with these, given you have the resources and work already figured out. They would fit seamlessly in this manner.

I could really use a wizard duergar with a cowl and a robe, sort of like your avatar, Draygoth.

Not a great picture, but a Duergar Mage in progress...

He's not evil enough looking yet, but just an idea where I'm headed.

I have these uploaded here under my dwarves project. They didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. Hope you enjoy them.
