Does that not make more squadmates than we've been told?
Initially 10, plus Zaeed = 11 (as seen that interview that leaked the DLC information)

The numbers speak for themselves.
We have:
Garrus
Tali
Miranda
Jacob
Mordin
Thane
Samara
Grunt
Subject Zero
and possibly Legion...
...which makes 10.
I'm sure that it's their way of confirming things.

Maybe i'm mistaken but these cables on Legion reminds me of Saren... :/

EDIT: well, thank you for the confirmation. It looks like there's more info on those boards.

It does indeed make that eleven squadmates, but ten squadmates come with the game as advertised. Zaeed is DLC separate from the game that must be downloaded, so he isn't counted.

The cables remind you of Saren because Saren grafted a geth arm onto himself.

By that logic the Ghost Ship and one other achievement (Colony Saved or something like that...)  would constitute 11 squad members.  Which I believe there will be anyway, so in my eyes you are right on.  (With Zaeed it would be twelve completing the "Dirty Dozen" if you will...)

12 is a nice round number, especially since with 3 being the largest group you can have that means you can have four full groups of 3, plus 12 is just generally used for squads such as the dirty dozen.  However, I am counting Shepard there, since he would be in one of the squads, and it just makes more sense for there being 11 in that case.
