In the case of you getting dropped on by a Phantom or a LolGoon in hack or drone escort for example. HSol or GT will just dodge it. And relocate. Destroyer will eat it with his stagger immunity, but will get sync-killed or continue to eat damage till he dies, because he doesn't have instant shield regen of Hsol, super fast regen of GT or a dodge. All he can do is spam multi-frags. But on some maps grenades are not that plentiful.
Ofcourse - I know what you gonna say - lol lol he says Destoyer sucks and he can't play it. What a moron and bla bla bla. That's not the case. I'm just saying that turning off DevMod with an animation is unnecessary. And this could be an ace in the sleeve on a twich reaction Destoyer
In the case of a phantom or logoons getting into melee range, the destroyer still wins, he doesn't stagger back into sync kill range, oh no, he keeps running away from the sync kill, unlike the default human soldier, or pretty much every other kit in the game, which staggers BACKWARDS INTO IT.
And I`ll give you this, you are right, the animation is completely unnecessary, know why? BECAUSE NOBODY IS STUPID ENOUGH TO EVER TURN IT OFF.
All of this is still besides the point though, because, you STILL HAVN`T EXPLAINED WHY YOU RANDOMLY SWITCH POSITIONS.
As for a "ace in the sleeve of a twitch reaction destroyer" lolwut? a REAL "twitch reaction Destroyer" will simply kill everything.
