... at least in my experience. I've used my Hurricane Vi on Turians, Krogan, Casters, Vanguards, Salarians, the Geth Infiltrator, even the Vanilla Human Soldier and I still don't get the hype around this gun. It's supposed to have great damage, but I barely get to see it because the accuracy is horendous, even in cover: without stability mods the gun becomes almost uncontrollabe.

Honestly, I prefer the Collector SMG over the Hurricane. I feel like this is gonna end up similar to worse than my thread about the Claymore, but does anyone have a suggestion (besides getting the Hurricane to X)?

Hurricane isn't even really that inaccurate, and stability can be pretty easily compensated for (at least with a controller) by holding the stick.

You crazy, son.

I know that. What about the Hurricane?

Learn to counter aim the recoil, in other words l2p.

Stability mod on the Hurricane is a wasted mod slot due to the player being bad.

Look at my manifest and then tell me that. Don't assume I'm an idiot.

I don't remember manifest ever being relevant towards a weapon use discussion.

You told me to learn how to play. That's not part of a weapon discussion either. I told you to look at my manifest so you could see I'm not some new stupid player who can't even handle the Harrier.

Well... learn to manage the recoil, it's the only thing. Use it from close to mid distance. Put a stability amp if you want to use it from far away (couple it with Hunter mode or Marksman then)

I use the stability mod on my Hurricane, even when I equip it on a GI with all the HM advantages. I really like my headshots from 200 feet away without having to have to wrestle with my controller. You can't really go bad with "wasting slots" on the Hurricane IMHO. It's ****ing powerful, even if you put a piece of an extra spicy cheeto puff in one of the two slots.

not being able to handle the recoil is a case of l2p.

Then you can't handle it.

My Destroyer for example destroys everything with it in CQ

it is a matter of playstyle. The hurricane is for up close and personal fights. The acc bonus on the gi helps.

I prefer the harrier myself. It has better acc at range, nearly the same damage, and looks cooler.

Well this is going nowhere fast.

tivesz, Kalas, thank you for actually putting forth some constructive suggestions instead of saying that I don't know how to play this game.

I agree. ****ing hate it. Wraith or CSMG pls, I don't like getting less than 50% headshots when I am centered on the head.

Oh, how the times have changed!  I remember when Hurricane GI was your comfort food.

OT: I don't find it too unstable to compensate for on PC anyway, you just need to set your mouse sensitivity high enough that you can constantly drag down with a small movement.  I still think it's overrated though.  It IS quite innaccurate, and in general full-auto weapons are overrated based on their DPS rather than their performance in practice.

Stability mod is a waste if you're playing a Turian on-host as you should be able to get your shots on target quite easily with practice. I throw stability gear on to counter the recoil on other kits, and it really is a beast of a weapon as long as you don't mind getting up close and personal.

What you said is that even with bonuses you have operational issues with the Hurricane. There's nothing you can do about that other than just learn how to better compensate for it.

the recoil with the gun is not the problem, the fact that you spend most of the time using it reloading and the fact that's an inaccurate piece of krogan faecal matter are the main problems.

On the other hand, having said all that, I usually use my Hurricace on close-quarter kits, like the AV for example. It's still a matter of playstyle preference, Hurricane destroys no matter what mods you decide to put on.

On casters I prefer the CSMG. Although, on weapon classes the Hurricane destroys the competition. I've had it at X for a while now, so I might be biased.
