I only use it with Stability Mod. Can't handle the recoil. I am a noob, despite nearing 3k games a having a maxed manifest.
All in all, it is one of my favorite weapons and it has served most - if not all kits for me at some point. And obviously, GI Hurricane > All.
0/10 will throw out of airlock after beating.

before they fixed negative recoil you would've had a hell of a time (not that the SMG stability existed back then anyways)

I don't see how people have a problem with the recoil.
1. Start firing
2. Drag aim downwards
3. ???
4. Profit
This in a hatbox is the answer to your question there OP. Yeah, its got a horrendous recoil if you try emptying the clip straight off and you won't be getting any gold medals for headshots with it, but seriously, were you expecting to?
It takes practice with the recoil, in the end you either love it or hate it. Personally I happen to love it as it chews through bosses like water
Although the mod is a 70% stability bonus compared with 30% from Stability 3 armor consumable, the Hurricane is best with as much capacity and firing time as you can pile into it, so spending a mod slot for Stability is just going to hurt you versus all the mid tier and higher enemies.Simba501 wrote...

The best thing is, Mass Effect's recoil is straight up vertical. It only goes up, not like other games where recoil goes all over the place. That means recoil control is ridiculously easy, you literally just have to drag your aim downwards and you will have zero problems with it.
You are correct.Cirvante wrote...
My Revenant would like to disagree, if I remember correctly.

Nope. It's like Capn233 said. I only use the Revenant on the TSol and I clearly noticed horizontal recoil in addition to vertical recoil. That's the reason why I found it harder to control than the hurricane.Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...

Recoil is strictly vertical.
But the Revenant also has atrocious spread which makes it's projectiles go all over the place, which what I think you're referring to.

after 5 pages, I am sure someone already stated this, but the power of the hurricane is primarily through Incendiary ammo, as the high rate of fire fully exploits incendiary ammo's damage stacking bug. Further paired with warp, and you will melt Bosses absurdly fast.

It's fine not to like it. I'm not too big a fan of the Hurricane myself. Too much recoil/spread for my liking. Oddly enough, I'm in love with the BPP.
How is it? A friend of mine got the BPP and immediately ran to do a Platinum run with it. I fell over laughing as he pulled his hair out while he couldn't figure out why he was having so many problems running it on a Vorcha Sentinel.
