Which looks a good deal like the Terminus Armor.

I don't know why, but I'm gonna bet right now that they get a total of MAYBE 3 costumes, all retextures or recolors. I base this solely on the fact that in ME1 you had three types total, light/medium/heavy and simply recolors/retextures of those, so really, just having each squady with their own unique clothing is way more than what was in the first game. Bioware isn't the greatest on having a huge supply of any models, whether they be weapons or armor. All their games from KOTOR to DA:O have had minimal modeling so I'm assuming that ME2 will be no different *shrugs*

I just hope that they get some substantial boosts from research upgrades or my team mates will be dying pretty quickly on insanity...

Some people wear armor, some don't, what's the issue with that exactly? Garrus and Grunt are clearly wearing armor, so what if Miranda and SuZe aren't? I'll take costumes that allow for Miranda and SuZe to both be human females while having different body types over tons of armor that makes everyone look the same. If costumes is what it takes to allow Miranda to be a big breasted bomb shell while SuZe is bit more evenly proportioned than so be it.

It's better than the alternative. I mean, just look at Dragon Age. When wearing her default rags Morrigan actually has her own individual body type instead of the cookie cutter female body that every other character in the game has. Toss any other armor on her though and viola, good by individuality hello generic garbage.

It's a confused face, communicating a desire for clarification.

I was intially confused by your statement about them being humanfemales. What'd that statement mean?

I was then confused by your response. Why only ask me about Subject Zero? What made you think I doubted their humanity?

I specifically mentioned human females because while from species to species the models clearly differ, every human female looks identical. So since forums are ridiculous and even if your point is crystal clear someone is bound to say something stupid I thought there would be some smart ass who wouldn't take the fact that them both being females while having different body types is something rather new.

At the end of the day the point is, if losing a ton of equipable armor is the price I have to pay for two characters of the same species to have different body types than so be it.

Oh. I didn't get that that was about their different body types. I thought you might be sayin' that they "should be able to dress like ladies" or somethin' like that.

Still, I don't see why that justifies goin' into battle with skin tight suits, high heels, or straps for upperwear. Casualwear is for casual situations, and live battlles aren't very casual. Meh. I'll just ignore the absurdity in-game, suspension of disbelief engaged.

Also, you still didn't tell me why you specifically asked about Subject Zero. Assumed I was one of her many detractors and one of Miranda's fans?

They can go into battle dressed however they want because they're not alliance military like Shepard was. They're part of an organization that doesn't have any kind of dress code and as such can wear what ever they want. I mean even as a real world example do you know that cops DON'T have to wear body armor in many departments? It's 100% optional even though departments provide it for officers to use.

On top of that it seems most of the people that are up front fighters ARE wearing armor whereas those that aren't are biotics. I'm perfectly fine with biotics having the faith in their skills to rely soley on biotic shields so it doesn't bother me.

As for the SuZe thing, I asked because of all the weird threads that have been posted here in regards to her that I actually thought maybe I was in the wrong or something. I couldn't think of what else you would be confused about since I mentioned Morrigan from Dragon Age and thought that would make it clear I was talking about body types.

wha?! you assume because there is only 2 non-preorder armors on the wevsite that theyre the only ones in the game?

necrofiend, ignore this guy. he was an uninformed troll on the old forums to. we dont know how many alt outfits our squaddies have, but yes, it is disappointing noetheless. we can change their weapons same as we change sheps though; there is also evidence that some teammates get unique weapons only for them though. on the plus side, there seems to be a great deal of awesome customization options for sheps armor.

Troll? Yes. Uninformed? No. In fact I may be the only one who's mind is open to the truth.

But Frotality I shall give you a chance to redeem yourself, you call me uninformed when I seem to be the only one who actually knows the truth. But if you are true and I actually am uninformed about the armour situation then that would mean that you have information I dont. If you can proove to me and the entire forum that there are in fact more than 2 sets of armours that Shepard can equip in the standard edition of the game (Meaning no DLC, no pre-order bonus and no CE exclusive content) then I will admit that I am wrong.

But of course the chances of you prooving me wrong are next to nil because I am in fact right.

While I applaud the characters having different body types and sizes there is no way I will ever be able to take SuZe seriously in her default outfit. Especially seeing as how shields and barriers seem to be much weaker and go down much more quickly in ME2 than they did in ME1. The first shot to hit her after her barrier quickly goes down would kill her. Plus, it just looks ridiculous for anyone going into a firefight. It would work in a rave or some sort of concert though.

That just looks like all the different customizations you can do to the N7 suit of armor.

http://masseffect.bi.../arsenal/armor/

There's one "classified" listing, the N7 armor, & then all the others are "bonus" content.

And yes OP there is a blurry picture of an alt costume for (I think) Thane. The N7 Dev diary has a shot of an armored figure with red glowing eyes behind Shepard's right shoulder(between him and Tali) during the quarian conclace at aprox 1:30-1:34.

Perhaps you can kill Tali, or get her killed? Or not support her on her... ordeal (trying to respect the NO SPOILERS edict), in the place we recruit her, which causes her to not join?

All I see is that you showed three different customizations to the N7 armor.  Notice that they all have the N7 logo on the front?

But this is off the topic regarding alternate "outfits" for the team members...

You can place or remove the N7 logo as you desire, it's part of the color/materail/stripe options in the game.
