So, we already know health would not regenerate automatically after combat, and that health-restoring potions would be of finite amount (which seems to indicate that crafting in DAI would not extend to potions). This raises some questions in regards to character builds, specializations, and spell schools.
In both former DA games, the staple spells of the Creation school were spells that restored health, or hastened its regeneration. But how will such spells be affected by the new framework of health regeneration (or lack thereof)? Having such spells (either available to all mages, or part of a presumed Spirit Healer specialization) would kind of offset what the devs are trying to accomplish by the elimination of automatic regeneration (and would increase dramatically the importance of the Spirit Healer specialization if those abilities would be reserved to it), so will those spells be eliminated as well? Or will they be kept, but somehow restricted? Moreover, if health does not regenerate, will Mana/Stamina? One could argue that in a scenario where neither health nor mana/stamina are restored, mana essentially can become currency one uses in order to buy health, and that makes a very direct contrast between healing and blood magic (which uses health as a currency to buy mana). That would also make the creation spells that hasten the restoration of mana/stamina, peculiar (you basically spend mana in order to gain mana).

So how do you think this will be handled? And what would the healer-type build for a mage look line?
