Geez, I love women that look like this. All that muscle.

This may be an attempt to allow kossith players to wear helmets. If they keep the horns small without having them curl back over the head, the PC can at least wear open faced helmets.

Modeling two different versions of every piece of headwear would be a ton of work, though, and it might not even be enough depending on how many horn options there are.Malanek999 wrote...
I would have thought the Qunari would have specially designed helmets to accommodate horns.

Giant horns > Wearing helmets.
I disable them when I get the option to anyway.

Because based on concept art, this would seem to be the case.
I think Mary Kirby once said that Qunari have become good at smithing helmets that leave room for their horns, and they don't care if they get cut off in battle because they have no nerve endings in them like fingernails or hair. I'm guessing that their helmets would treat horns like the tauren in World of Warcraft: they just stick out through holes that are magically built into them. We might also see fewer helmets in the game that would clip with horns, even on non-horned races.BraveVesperia wrote...
As fair as helmets go, couldn't they just make the horns 'disappear' if you equip a helmet? If you equip one on a female character in general, her hair often disappears, so why not like that, the horns are simply 'obscured'?

I'd prefer this as long we can put sweeping back horns on them like the DA2 Qunari.MisanthropePrime wrote...

With their skin tone and white hair, they look like tieflings crossed with drow.redneck nosferatu wrote...
I hope this is the case because, while I admire Matt Rhodes' artwork, I would much prefer a female qunari to have larger, DA2-style horns; similar to those the tamassrans in the Those Who Speak comic had.Secretlyapotato wrote...
I was thinking there'd be several different horns to choose from.
These stubbier horns make the female qunari look too much like tieflings, IMO.
