rapid fire shotgun, with good accuracy, light weight, but doesn't really bring the pain!

anyone found a good set up that makes it workable? I was using it on the ex Cerberus vanguard, which worked ok, but then I tried the same ex cerb vanguard with the talon, and then there was no looking back.

It's pretty bad. Whatever you use it on there will always be about 50 better weapon choices. I can remember choosing to do it for the shotgun challenge and found its lack of punch extremely aggravating.

The Scimitar is a crime in this game, after being so awesome in ME2.  I feel weak when I use it on Silver.  The only use it has is a light-weight sword handle until you get a decently leveled Disciple, Wraith, or Piranha.  And even then, the Eviscerator is much better for the same role.

Nope, just tried it yesterday and loved it . Seems it s vey low DPS (as told here) but very fun, and a 8 shot barrel is quite useefull

Not really. I still only have a wraith IV (below average playtime + RNG really doesn't like giving me wraith upgrades), and it's one of the best weapons I've got.

Only acceptable Shotty on the AIU... in all seriousness, this shotty is garbage. Katana is bettah.
If you want to use a hipsterish shotty use the Disciple. I love that gun. Looks like an Asari sex toy.
