Unless say , If a player sits back and doesn't shoot anything , and then tries to shoot down the last bar of health .

It's a co-op game. There is no such thing as kill stealing.
And it's another reason why people shouldn't care about score.

To me kill stealing is when you wait for other players to strip the defenses on an enemy and then take the final blow. I didn't do anything like that. I was in the face of all enemies doing my part as a Valkyrie. I'm wondering if they were confusing an agressive playstyle with kill stealing?
What do you feel qualfies as "kill stealing"?
I stripped the defenses and most of the health from a banshee and then another player stood in front of me blocking my aim and took the final blow and I only got something like "100 assist"

So much this. Tell those scrubs to learn to kill faster, idiots.
lol, " learn to kill faster" is what I always scream through my mic wen somebody starts to wine about stealing kills.
But there are times I feel a bit guilty wen I see someone with 1 enemy and I biotic charge into "his" enemy... but I can't always help it.... There are situations that you need to get out quickly or need to be at the other side of the map. The quickest way is often BC... and that is not always appreciated.
But then again.... "Learn to kill faster"
And -> If you are playing Gold and at the end you don't have the 75 kills OR the 50 assist medals you suck anyway. That 1 kill I stole from you is not going to make you less suck.

It has absolutely nothing to do with your performance or how well you played. You have to realise that there are a lot of young kids playing this game, idiots that get a kick out of kicking people out of games. The vote-to-kick system in this game is too easy to abuse and people take full advantage of this fact. I get kicked out of games very frequently, on a very regular basis, for quite a long time now. It's just idiots being idiots, that is all, it has nothing to do with your performance. So keep playing the way you're playing. But you should always expect to get kicked when playing with pugs, a lot of them are young idiotic kids.
Kook pls.

They were just mad because they got outperformed by someone who joined midgame and that made them realize in a painful way, that they probably were not as good as they think they were.
So in other words: they were just butthurt.
Don't even worry about it.
EDIT: I have been kicked once for throwing too many grenades
This post reflects my thoughts exactly. Also, Op we really must play soon since you're on my FL

So it seems like the consensus is there is no kill stealing, just kill helping. I like that.
Interestingly enough, I got a Friend request from the guy I messaged and who told me it was because of my kill stealing. Now he is saying I'm a good player and wants to play with me again. Probably just realized I am female. Funny how quickly that can change some peoples attitude. [quote]
They are just mad because you came in late, and whooped two of them.
Sometimes, people get mad when you have a team, a synergy going, and a highly agressive player comes in and gets the rotation all wrong - throwing everyone off. I kick people like that too - or get on my TGI/Harrier. Its fun to show them what a Gorilla in an elevator can do when it thinks you stole its banana.
Sometimes, as well, the 4th player dropped out. You forgot to set private, so you have to kick them in order to get pal #4 back. Its nothing personal.

Yeah, no Vorcha, no Krogan... probably not even anyone with Martial Artist. Without those, there is no such thing as kill stealing.Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...

Edit:
It could have been that they were going for weapon/power challenges? In that case a really good player could make things take longer. Though, were they that desperate for points they'd be better off soloing Bronze/Silver.

I used a falcon punch to steal a friend's grab once. Got the head exploding kill the instant before he would have, the enemy was already on the ground just waiting for the omni-blade to come down.ChrisLupton wrote...Also as mentioned above, killing the target of a Falcon Punch is just not right...
He wasn't too happy about it.
But, then again, I'm a pretty shameless grab/killstealer when playing with friends.
