@Smoke LRC ~ How does sharing kills work? Apparently I need to learn how. I'd imagine if everyone was worried about sharing then not a lot of stuff would get killed quickly.

Me: "Oh, would you like to get that kill?"

Other player: "No no, you go ahead."

Me: "Are you sure? I don't wanna steal if from you or anything."

Other player: "Why thank you. I will go ahead and kill it then."

Then we both get taken down by the enemy we were trying to share.

Haha yeh, Zen kind of went a little crazy on me man. And just earlier I got kicked by a couple of idiot noob kids lol. I'm still under the same gamertag, I didn't realise you were still playing ME, sorry about that, can I add you again man? I've been hitting the sauce pretty hard as of late.

I did kind of accuse a friend I used to play with a lot for not exactly "kill stealing", but he had this annoying habit of frequently jumping right in front of me when I'm shooting at stuff bc he had a knight in shining armor complex.

Akir, don't worry so much!  (I know that sounds hypocritical coming from the queen of over-analysing, self-consciousness and sensitivity! )

I don't think that anything qualifies as 'kill stealing' in this game. Sure, there are cases when you fire a missile and someone else ends up grabbing the kill - most often from characters with Reave, Warp or Flamer.

Personally I don't care about the above situation, as long as we get the job done!

I know that there was a phase where everyone kicked Shadows because of shadow strike; but what they forgot is that that is the character's main glory.

Honestly, people these days seem so obsessed with getting all the kills/points and topping the board.

I have no time for those types. Let them go ahead; whatever makes them happy.

It's blatantly obvious that the real reason why they kicked you is because you were too good, pure and simple. Jealousy is ugly.

I've been accused of kill stealing by butthurt randoms a couple of times. I honestly never set out to do that, but some people don't like not top-scoring. The reporting function is pretty sad for that reason on lolxbx.

I was touched a couple of weeks ago when the host in the lobby I was in actually took the time to send me a message asking if I could leave because they wanted to invite a friend. That's courtesy

I hate getting kicked when I don't know what I've done wrong, and it does niggle at me (yeah, I know it shouldn't). Too many times I've been in lobbies where everyone kicks a particular person who they must think is going to be too good . One time someone sent me a message asking to kick said person, and I just left. I don't like kicking people ever. I always give the benefit of the doubt (maybe it backfires in my face, but oh well).

MP players are becoming worse and more snobby each day. Nowadays you have to bust your ass in order to be "acceptable" enough to play MP on a higher setting.
