I still play SWTOR, DA2 & ME 3 to this day.

IMO: SWTOR is a solid game although traveling is a pain in the arse.

DA2 was good save for the reused areas.

ME3 is damn near perfect.

I wouldn't say last chance. But they have been downgraded from Instant Preorder to Buy Eventually, At Some Point.

Maybe, almost certain, but when I get the new computer I'll be buying some older games, so if/when they screw up DA:I they will still get money from me for awhile at least.
Funny thing is of 25 years of gaming(started with checking out the games for the kids) I only remember 2 music intros.BG and Oblivion.

Nope.

Loved DA:O...credit it with getting me into gaming)

Loved DA:2, except for the reused ares, exploding bodies, parachuting enemies, and flippy combat. But stuff like that isn't why I play an RPG...

Loved ME and ME2.....ME3 ruined the series for me, and I will wait for user comments on any future ME title.

I am enjoying SWToR.

And I already know DA:I will be a preorder for me.....I'm looking forward to more DA titles.

With many people either being disappointed by SWTOR, DA2 or ME3, I'm just curious how many feel that this is Bioware's last chance to produce a "must buy", a pre-order or limited edition purchase from them. Or is Dragon Age the only series you play? Oooor is DA2 (or those other games, but DA2 is more relevant to DAI) wasn't a disappointment to you at all? This really isn't a thread to bash or praise Bioware, I just want to get a sense of where the fanbase is. 'Cause curiousity and all that.

None of those games really disappointed me so...no?

SWTOR is great if you treat it like KOTOR 3,4,5,6 rolled into one, DA 2 is quite good if you dont consider it a sequel and ME 3 was downright awesome but with a somewhat mediocre final couple of minutes but that's my considerations.

I don't buy all of BioWare's games, just the Medieval Fantasy RPG's. I didn't like DA2 because it felt like they were trying to mold the DA franchise into "Mass Effect (or Call of Duty) with swords," which isn't the type of game I like. (Plus, human-only protagonist. Yuck.) Now that they've gone back to their Dragon Age and Fantasy RPG roots (with race selection!), I'm interested again.

If it turns out I don't like DA:I, I'll be disappointed, but I won't feel like it's a personal betrayal. If/when they work on DA4, I won't automatically boycott them with a "You spent your last chance!" attitude. If adds show that DA4 will have features I'm interested in, I'll still consider buying it.

Judge the game, not the company.

I wasn't disappointed in SWTOR, DA2, or ME3.

So no, it's not their last chance.

Goodness no. They're one of the few game makers creating role playing games that let you pick your characters gender. Mass Effect 3's bitter sweet endings annoyed me but no where near enough to threaten not buying future products. Now I'm currently considering not pre-ordering or buying DA: I until I read some reviews as to whether or not we're having another bitter sweet ending forced upon us but that's about as extreme as I'm prepared to go right now.

Now if I do end up getting another does of bitter I may start waiting for the price to drop down to 20-30 dollars.

I didn't enjoy DA2 very much, and I haven't been able to touch the ME campaign again since that ending, but...

No. If they make a good game, I'll happily buy and play it.

However, I learned my lesson about preordering.

ME3 is my favourite BioWare game, it being by far the most cinematic and story-driven.

I enjoyed the story of DA2, but the lack of dev time let it down. Kirkwall was static, whereas we should've seen it change over the years.

Since DA:I looks absolutely fantastic, I would say the opposite. I have pretty good faith in BioWare to deliver me a good product.

No. It's a game company, not a cheating lover. It's selling products, some of which I may like a great deal and others not so much.

I haven't played the Mass Effect franchise save for 2, which they gave me for free. I enjoyed DA:O but don't consider it (or any game) perfect. I liked SWTOR far more than I expected (only bought after the open beta). I found DA2 too rushed to reach its potential, but still enjoyed it enough for replays.

Not at all.
I really liked DA2 and ME3, they had their flaws but definitely didn't ruin anything for me nor made me lose faith in Bioware.

DA:2 and ME3 took BioWare off of my list of companies I make day 1 purchases or preorders from, but I fully intend to buy Inquisition if the final product seems good.

Nah. I haven't played the Mass Effect series yet - not into shooters - so that doesn't factor into my decision. I enjoyed SWTOR and loved DA2.

Also, even if I had hated their last game, I'd still give the next one a chance based on their overall track record. I hated the Neverwinter Nights original campaign, but I've still bought, played and enjoyed subsequent BioWare games.

The only game that disappointed me was Mass Effect 3, and that wasn't BioWare's fault. The blame for that can be set at the feet of two particular people that I won't name because I don't want to get banned and certain corporate buisiness decisions. All of their other recent titles have been nothing short of outstanding to me.

Dragon Age 2 was a *good* game, it just suffered from a rushed Dev cycle that was not, again, BioWare's fault. The Old Republic should have been single player and not an MMO (not BioWare's fault) but everything else about it is brilliant and the game is second only to KOTOR itself in my humble opinion.

Bottomline, BioWare has never been in "last chance" territory for me. Inquisition will be another fantastic game from the studio that will have the added benefit of the studio learning from some unfortunate choices made both in-house and out.

ME3 was great, IMO. 5 minutes can't define a journey for me. DA2 was a bit of a disappointment but all things considered, it's still a decent game. So really, only 1 strike against Bioware for me and I still had fun in DA2. So, no.

No.   BioWare fan for life...
And by-the-way Da2 and ME 3 were not bad games , they both were good . But the endings suck ,but even if the endings were good/prefect I'm sure that a few idiots would have found somthing wrong with both games anyway.

Nope. I tend to gauge games on an individual basis as I never was the type to buy everything that x company released no matter what.

Nope! I enjoyed both DA games! And I have not played any others of bioware. All I have to compare too is TES. Don't get me wrong TES is good but DA has CHARACTERS and a complex story!

This. Or at least, any dissapointments I did have with them were vastly outweighed by what I loved about them.
