That's something I disagree with, there are many developers who are releasing great games or are making great games so the game industry isn't complete crap.golak wrote...

Agreed. I can understand peoples love of Bioware but, uh, that comment just reeks of fanboy/girl.

Bioware attracts passionate fans --that's a double-edged sword.
One neg is it tends to attract drama queens who think something is the end of the world, but really they know deep down Bioware has done things in a unique way that keeps a core group coming back.
Now, if Bioware goes the Skyrim route, - well that's gonna "hurt them" in respect to many folks in their existing fanbase. Based on what we've heard so far a strong Bioware flavor remains. Thank the Maker.

No, because I enjoy even Bioware's worst games better than 99% of all other games out there. My complaints about their last few games haven't been because those games were bad. They've been because Bioware can do better than that because they have before.

Nope, I evaluate every game on its own merit. As disappointed as I am in many different companies I won't write them off, why should I treat BioWare any differently?

To be honest I feel it's EA who need to start redeeming themselves with regards to handling BioWare properties.
Inquisition's longer development cycle is a good sign in that regard.

Actually what you are seeing is a preference by SOME of us gameplayers.
And your list contains come of the ways/environments you prefer to play.
Some of us actually really like the whole settings/interactions and feel of Bioware games - even with their flaws.

The person said 99% of today's games are worse than Bioware's worst games, that to me reeks of fanboyism instead of being a matter of preference.zMataxa wrote...
