the bottom left and right triggers are for powers
and so is triangle
these are shown on your HUD (which means Heads Up Display)
The square button reloads
x does every thing else
except move, you use the left and right joysticks for those

Depends on many things like what difficulty you're playing, whom you're playing with, set map/enemies, etc. On a U/U/G basis it's ok I guess. Whom are you talking of if I may ask, I've quickly check your manifest before answering (so I can avoid sounding obnoxious) and it's clearly not you.

Are you saying my link doesn't go to my manifest, because it does for me.... plus I grabbed those numbers off xbox since I was just sitting there anyway.  and I pretty much only play U/U/G, or occasionally challenge myself to a plat solo nowadays

It does. I rapidly calculated your average per game and I got some 147K, which is pretty good I'd say - unless, of course, you nuke every spawn you meet.

You can't really do that because then you won't factor in all the points you scored between the time when you reached the max thereof and the time when you finished the mastery. Besides, even if it worked, it wouldn't be an accurate reflection of your skills at the moment of the calculation, which are in constant evolution as you get better as you play.

Specter Mastery.
It shows the amount of points earned, the number of waves played and the number of medals earned. 
Divide the number of points by the number of waves then multiply the total by the number of waves in a game (11). Only is reliable for the specter masteries in which none of the three sub-challenges are completed though.
