Import ME3 character always a soldier?

I've scoured the search function, and I haven't found an answer to this problem, so here it is:

I've beaten ME3 4 times. twice as a Sentinel, once as a Vanguard, and once as an Adept. Whenever I go to New game -> Import ME3 character, and I choose lets say.. my adept, and I go through the accepting my face and bonus power, the final thing says Colonist, War Hero, SOLDIER, and bonus power.

Even when I enter the game and skip all of the cutscenes until I get to look at my character, it's a soldier. Not an adept.

I don't know what's going on, and I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem and has a possible solution ?

I've had to use Gibbed to change my character class, and while that's easy, I'd rather just be able to click NG+ (And not get confused when the save file says Soldier but it's actually an adept.)

This hasn't happened to anyone else? hm... I don't even know when it started myself.. I'll start uninstalling random things and see what happens I guess.

Can't say for sure, of course, but I've certainly never heard of a bug like that! How peculiar. Maybe a clean reinstall would solve it? Don't know what else to suggest

haha thanks! Yeah I tried deleting the title update and deleting the installed games from the HDD.- didn't work- So I'm reinstalling both now.

I would try soldier, but it's boring for me xD;

However I have wanted to try Flare on a soldier...
