I pretty much echo what Deerber said about classes. I have many more I can gladly help with and the same goes for weapons. Off-hosting is fine for me as well.

I can solo gold with strong infiltrator kits or very tanky kits (Jug, Krogard), but I struggle with high DPS glass-canons, such as Fury or Drell-adept -- I have trouble surviving with them.

I would love to learn how to use them effectively and live to tell the tale...

As I'm most likely to be able to get a mic and do this, you can count me in. As I said, U/U/P. Or, if the person I'll do it with prefers, any combination. I'd rather do non-infiltrators runs. Vanilla human or adepts would be cool.
I'd be down for non-rocket gold duos, but I'd rather do plat.

GT=BSN name. I've improved significantly since I last played a match in Operation Lodestar, I've been breaking into platinum with a few of my best characters (Novaguard, TGI, MQI). I don't think I'm ready for a plat duo though, so if anyone feels like doing a gold duo with my Wraith Novaguard, I'll be available for some games after work today at 9:30. (-8 GMT I do believe, might be +8...not sure)

If you don't want to play off-host, then I'll use my Harrier MQI seeing as how Vanguard's need host to be at max effectiveness. I would prefer a map that's relatively wide open, such as goddess, so that Brutes aren't blocking and trapping me in tiny hallways, or Banshees aren't jumping behind me into a hallway and insta-grabbing me. Do NOT want to face collectors, anything but them.

I have a mic, and I suppose I could use it if whoever wants to play really wants me to use it. Usually prefer not to talk while playing though, personal preference. Although, if I can get in more than one game with a spectre, I would really appreciate it if somebody could do a gold duo with me and my Slayer, and give me some tips on how to most effectively utilize him. Will gladly use a mic for talking about builds/strats for the Slayer. I still haven't settled on a build for him, I want to go full melee instead of health, because SWORDS. So far, going for melee damage isn't the most effective build, but I also don't wanna play him as a PD spammer, when I play a Vanguard I want to get up in the enemies face and destroy them in seconds with CQC attacks, not dodge away and PD them from a distance. (Don't get me wrong, I love PD and I utilize it quite often against bosses or to finish off enemies from a distance, just don't wanna rely ONLY on PD.)
