I'm looking forward to exploring more of the game world.  Sounds like Orlais will play a large role and I'm still hopeful for a future game in Teventir and the Anderfels.

And while I would prefer to not play another game entirely in Fereldan it seems I've heard mention of Fereldan appearing in the game, and I think it would be interesting to see a place we visited in DAO except now rendered in the new Frostbite engine with some exploration.  Given the good looking visuals I'd like to see say Redcliff.

Crestwood is Fereldan, but we never went there in DAO. There's plenty of Fereldan we never explored though I'd definitely love to see Denerim in DAI, if only for exploring it without loading screens.

They've been pretty consistantly saying from Western Orlais to Eastern Fereldan but from the PAX loading screen we see Nevarra and the Free Marches, so I hope we get to see some of them, but hopefully free cities other than Kirkwall, I've seen enough of that place to last a lifetime.

I remember the demo listing "Frostback pass" as one of the location so maybe we'll get to see Orzammar again.

As long as it fits with the story, and is added in organically, I won't mind revisiting older places. However, I wouldn't want to revisit just for the sake of revisiting...

I would love the chance to go to Denerim, perfect place to see king Alistair and the warden or wardens dog

I think Denerim is a safe bet as it's the capital city. lol
But I think it'd be interesting to see anywhere we might have passed, especially if some of our choices change things.

I'm not sure I'd like to see Ferelden. Both DA2 and Inquisition seems set in places so different from Ferelden, it looks like we travel through time and not just through space. I mean that Ferelden looks like a place set in a Medieval era, while Kirkwall looks a bit like... well, I don't know what it looks like, but Orlais is just too much baroque.
I wish BioWare could keep a more defined style for the settings, despite the fact that, yes, Thedas is huge...

by what we have been told, each level is huge, and connected, perhaps we will go to each nation one by one?

We will be going back to Ferelden though we do not know the specific area's we will body but we do know that a majority of the events will take place in Ferelden and Orliais, so it's possible that we will go back to certain area's though there will be plenty of new ones as for Denerim as someone mentioned it's the capital so it's logical we will go back.

Also Neverra, the Free Marches were on the loading screens for the demo, Kirkwall was kinda hinted at in a joking way by one of the writer's "There will probably be one ring called 'Ring,' though," joked Laidlaw. "This ring was found in Kirkwall!", Tevinter could be an area since they said fate of nations type stuff.

I wouldn't mind visiting Redcliffe and Orzammar, just to see how things are going and see what they look like with the new engine.

We're doing eastern Orlais and western Ferelden.

Denerim is unlikely.

Ferelden is a backwater. That's why it looks less sophisticated/advanced than other areas.

And yes, I agree that a set style would be good. Hopefully, DA:I will be it.

hm...what shall i say:

the only DA:O locations i would really want to see are:

Orzammar (with the new engine...and with Kal-Sharok hopefully being present in order to compare both cities ^^)

and:

The Mages Tower...

otherwise, while Fereldan was fun - i don't want to be stuck in a backwater country (i like going to the big/strong ones: Orlais, Tevinter and the Anderfells (and maybe Nevarra))

greetings LAX
ps: "does it smell like wet dog here"? :D

This is probably my least favourite part of DAI that I've heard about so far. Very much not a fan of Ferelden as a setting.

I would love to see Denerim and Orzammar with the new engine. I also can't wait to use Dragon Keep- I always put Harrowmont on the throne (didn't like Bhelin) but I want to change it up on some of my playthroughs.

I feel like the only person here who absolutely loves Fereldan, hah. Not so sure I'd want to visit ALL of the exact same places, but I'd love to see new and more places there. It's a charming little dog country and I suppose if I'm to be of any region in Thedas, I'd be a Fereldan.

What they said at pax was we will be going from Western Orliais to Eastern Ferelden which includes Denerim and it's the capital, also to establish a foothold in Ferelden we need to make an alligence with the monarchs.

The tower of Magi was marked on the image of Cole stabbing them map.

I would like to visit Ferelden again, though considering how small the country is comparatively speaking, we probably won't be there for very long if we go. However.... it seems there will be the beginning of a new royalty conflict there in the future, considering how neither Alistair or Anora have a very viable hope for producing heirs.....

I wouldn't mind seeing Denerim and Redcliff again, maybe even Lothering, whatever's left of it. And definitely Orzammar, the repurcussions of who wore the crown by the end of that is too interesting to not revisit.

^A majority of the events will take place in Ferelden so we will be there for a good while also we can travel freely in-between the various zones and regions.

Also the zone that Crestwood is in is bigger than all the maps of DA2 combined and is considered to be small by their standards when compared to the other zones so can you imagine how big they will be.

:(

:crying:

That's really sad to hear. I just do not like backwaters as a setting for RPGs.

Redcliffe and Denerim would be cool and I wouldn't say no to a very short trip to Orzammar (but I'd rather Kal-Sharok.) I'd really like to see Gwaren and more of the Bannorn just to see a different Ferelden. I'm more looking forward to the new than looking to reminisce on the old.
