Dragon Age: Origins-Awakening provided the player to kind of create their own weapon in the form of Vigilance. I would really like to see that again.

I was deeply disappointed when  I killed a High Dragon and all I got from the actual dragon itself was a fire gland that was used to create an amulet. Yes the dragonblood is nice but am talking about a truly epic item like the Superior Dragon Armors, or as stated above Vigilance.

Thank you for your time.

I too want to know more about the weapon crafting. I really hope it has some really depth to it and not just renaming a version that is already in game. Hopefully the pax Q & A on crafting will be posted soon.

The really in depth thing was what I was thinking about today. Mostly focusing ion the Mantle of the Champion. How did 2 blood mages get a piece, and how did a dragon get a piece?

Perhaps the dragon got it from the blood mage snack he had a few years back.

I have high hopes for crafting in DA:I. From the Game Informer article: "If you love the look of the armor you start the game wearing, you are eventually able to create a version of that armor - colored any way you like - that is on even statistical ground with late-game loot."

I hope that this also translates to weapons as some of the late game weapons/armor are kind of meh or just not the look I want. Particularly equipment sets that give bonuses if worn together. Extra points if I can make and name uniquely crafted weapons.
My very own Bianca...

I would like to see that also.  Being able to make my own weapon and armor and call it my own would be amazingly epic.
