The ones with Orlesian Wardens are looking quite complicated already. (Although it does mean I'll have at least one version of Inquisition in which the world has been saved by four different races.)

The Qunari we play is outside the Qun so they are not going to use Qun titles for their name since that is not their role. Most likely, if the Qunari was born outside of Qunari lands then he will simply be named the same as any other race. Call him apple if you want.

We are both doomed. Doomed to spend the rest of the year making lists and spreadsheets to keep track of which Warden did what.

I am really excited that the Keep will mean that my Orlesian Wardens will finally get to have their existence acknowledged. There was no way to import an Orlesian Warden into DA2 and have it remember that the Warden from Origins was dead, but apparently the Keep will fix this.

I imported the Orlesian Warden onece, even without a Ferelden Warden to precede him officialy, and inported the deadFereldan twice... this is going to be complicated. We should ask BioWare to delay the game until we figute it out.

As others have said, it doesn't make much sense to have a Qunari name. I guess when we learn the background that can be answered definitively. Personally for me I'm thinking something that means 'Freedom' or 'Enlightenment'. Luckily there is enough time to come up with something.

If the Inquisitor is outside the Qun, that suggests that either they or their recent ancestors made a conscious choice to leave the religion. Presumably, they did this because they disagreed with (or at least were indifferent to) the rules of the Qun, so it seems very unlikely they would follow the Qunari system of naming people.

I mean, a parent who renounced Islam probably isn't going to name their child Mohammed.

Based on Qunlat, I think Katara would be the perfect name for my female qunari warrior.

Katara literally means 'die thing!'.

As a Qunari her purpose is a warrior (even if its informal due to being female), warriors make things die

As a Tal-Vashoth it'll be a reminder of her view of the Qun...or just something she chose from a familiar language in relation to her profession

I think I'll follow in the footsteps of cool DA 2 npc, and name myself Maraas. It means Nothing in the Qunari Language. I'd like to think that in forming the Inquisition I am finding some purpose that I otherwise did not have.

Well, the Tal Vashoth fellow from DA2 (the one who turned on the other Tal Vashoth in Act 1 and reappears in the Hanged Man in Act 3) chooses the name 'Maraas' when you see him again. According to him, it means 'nothing', because he has no role or anything expected of him.

If you chose a name for a Tal Vashoth who was a former Qunari, I imagine they might similarly pick a word that has meaning to them and use it as their new name.

Edit: Out of that list, I like the idea of 'Asala' (soul), 'Issala' (dust), 'Hissra' (illusion), 'Basra' (thing/foreigner, seems appropriate for an ironic Tal Vashoth).

From the posts here because of the limited list of Qunlat words/phrases that we know it seems a lot of people's Qunquisitor's will be called the same thing.
