Hoping we'll get a normal run/stance animation for a female PC this time

I like sexy looking women in games but DA2 over did it.

Define unnecessary. Merrill wasnt sexualized, Aveline wasnt, (female) Hawke wasnt which leaves Isabela who is deliberately sexualized (a condition existing RL btw) and yet a deeper character in many ways than others.

When it becomes embarassing to look at. Like Femhawke.
Aveline wasnt
If only Aveline was in a better game.

It's Bioware. They do not have a good track record with female characters lately.
Really? I'd say they did them better than most gaming companies,personally..
Like with how they used a skimpy outfit and juvenile ass shots with Miranda like something out of a Dead or Alive game?
Hahahaha and you've got a Witcher 2 sig. You're sitting in a glass house and I can see Triss's boobs through it.
In any case, this thread just applied for an expiration date. Enjoy the impending trainwreck.
The fact that he has a TW2 sig doesn't make the Miranda ass shots nonexistent. Much like Triss's boobs, thise ass shots are still there. You would think that the cinematographer (DOP or whatever the video game equivalent for it is) worked for Vivid Entertainment of Brazzers.

Brazzers! Now don't insult them, I'm sure they'd much rather be compared to X-Art.
Witcher can be crass like Hustler while Dragon Age can be classy like Playboy.
Although didn't Triss appear in Playboy...?

You may want to acquaint yourself with the meaning of the "those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" idiom.

If you think Femhawke was oversexualized because of that run animation then I can only say that this is the first time I've come across that particular fetish, I guess you cant even watch the ministry of silly walks sketch

You'll notice I never mentioned Isabela (though I think her outfit is pretty dumb anyways.) because her personality generally fit it.
Then we go to Miranda who is supposed to be some kind of cold ice queen but dresses in a skin tight bodysuit that shows off every curve of her body for... vague reasons that are never mentioned. Same with Ashley, whose design was incredibly insulting.
EDI just makes me think Bioware is as weird as their internet fandom is.

I could say the same about your posts. But I would rather debate somewhat intelligently my friend.

Their fans are certainly in agreement on that.

Yep, she did, if there's one company that's rather juvenile in their approach to female sexuality its definitely CDPR. I'm not slating them for it, they've been told this and I'm sure they'll improve on it in the next game.

Fair enough, I suppose. Though I never defended Miranda, or EDI.

People who are in the middle of saving lives don't walk around like two dollar ****s. When a female firefighter comes to save someone she's not switching her hips like an idiot.
People also can't telekinetically drain someone's life essence and people in video games rarely if ever go to the bathroom.
A great majority of games, especially RPGs, have characters in stylized outfits that are largely not very practical and certainly can go in the opposite direction into the absurdly impractical. It's an art decision, everybody does it, very few games I know make realism their watchword - like, say, Microsoft Flight Simulator, maybe? You can even expand this into a lot of media. Many things people do in movies, TV and books are not very realistic or practical.
I do agree some things they did with Miranda were silly, and perhaps the female walk animations in DA2 are a bit exaggerated (I do think the running with weapons animations are all pretty cool, though), but these things don't take over Bioware games. They're not as widespread as people make them out to believe.

By "improve" do you mean that they'll stop being juvenile or that they'll be an even higher quality level of juvenile?
I hope it's the latter because they've got a good thing going for them. Even though I generally appreciate Bioware's less juvenile approach to their characters, that doesn't mean we can't live in a world with both. Poop jokes can still be funny even if you appreciate nuanced humor as well.

I just cannot get into The Witcher, even though I finished the first game I just couldn't make it very far into the second, because the atmosphere, story and the world just turn me off immediately and I find the protagonist extremely dull. My opinion, of course, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Cyberpunk and see if things improve with a different franchise.
