I know there's TW3 next year as well, but Geralt doesn't really do anything for me as a protagonist.

The wait is definetely filled with agony. The problem is there aren't many other games I like coming out soon in the meantime
Anyone want to organise a break in into Bioware HQ to steal the alpha version? PM me.
Great.. now they know were coming!

I'll probably start up a Civ 5 game. Should be about a third of the way done by the time DA:I comes out.
That's hillarious.. Yeah, I don't even start a Civ 5 game, unless The calender year is blank for me.
I'm still working my way through the new Brave New World content. I'll probably go back to ignoring DAI development. After I tire of Civ, I have a pile of books that have been stacking up awaiting my attention.
I'll agree with that, I do have a few books that require some reading. That could pass some time.

Prayer circle everybody. I've been filling the hole in my soul with old BioWare games (Jade Empire is pretty fun).

Isn`t the game set for release around spring? If that is (still) so, its not a year of waiting. its half a year.
Fall '14, so nope.

The wait is going to suck, true, but at least I know something I'll enjoy is coming down the pipe. Most of the last decade has been painful for someone remembering the glory days of the late 90s/early 2000s RPG, where you were getting great ones all the time.
I know there's TW3 next year as well, but Geralt doesn't really do anything for me as a protagonist.
Same here, I have TW2, and I have maybe put 4 hours into it. It's beautifully done though.

Ahh. A year it is then. Still. the witcher 3 is coming out. Wasteland 2 and Project Eternity as well. No biggie.

actually i am kinda glad for the year though??? because da2, while i did like it, was really really not finished and ive got high hopes that this extra dev time will let them at the very least finish this game. and so far its done good - they were able to do multiple races because of the extra time, yeah?
plus extra year means extra year for me to find a damn job and save my pennies cause no doubt this game is gonna be pricey

I know the pain of waiting on a new game very well. Currently, I'm waiting on GTA V, and the wait is just about over, so thank God for that. Before that, it was Bioshock Infinite. Before that, Assassin's Creed 3. DA2 came next, before that the original Dragon Age, and before that it was Fable 2 of all things. The hype machine for video games works too well on me. ;-;
Ha! That's a pretty good list of waits too. This by far, has had the strongest hold on me so far. I've not been so excited for a game. In a long time. It's going to be awesome.
