I'm aware, I faced off against Manus yesterday, but got my ass handed to me withing the first thirty seconds. I still haven't tried to kill the black dragon either, but I had Gough shoot him down for me, so he'll be waiting for me until I feel ready for him.

Sadly I killed Seath without cutting off his tail. I tried, truly, but not until it was too late did I realize I'd been hacking away at one of the tentacles on his sides and not the tail...

I know, my current character is built to use that Greatsword (and the Moonlight Butterfly horn as a backup).   
And I always praise the Sun! \[T]/

Speaking of praise the sun, how do I get that gesture? I killed the drake and got to the sunlight altar, but I couldn't "speak" to the statue. Do I have to join the warriors of the sun covenant to get in on the action?

Speaking of praise the sun, how do I get that gesture? I killed the drake and got to the sunlight altar, but I couldn't "speak" to the statue. Do I have to join the warriors of the sun covenant to get in on the action?

 

Yeah. You need 25 Faith to be able to join the covenant. Or, more easily, you can assist people using the White Soapstone to drop the requirement by 5 each time. So four assists reduces the Faith requirement to 5.

 

Plus helping people makes you feel warm inside.

Speaking to the statue is how you join the covenant. iirc, you need 25 faith, minus 5 for each time you successfully helped someone take down a boss in co-op.

Well, I did  get summoned when we were trying S&O, just not by you...try it, you have nothing to lose: put your sign in a place where it's common to summon people for bosses (it doesn't matter if you already slayed a boss or not) and go about your business while staying in the area.

Anyone heard about the upcoming Bound by flame? They said it's like ME but put in medieval fantasy world, seems interesting enough. With DA:I still half a year to go, TW3 delayed till next year, I kind of looking forward to this one.

Never heard of Bound by Flame before. If it turns out ok, I'll get it for PC.
